It's smoother than the Audi A8, even though the Audi comes with an air ride. The Volvo S90 can be had with an air setup, but I believe it's only on the rear and it helps with leveling the ride height.
I haven't driven a 5er in a long time. The S90 will feel different, but it will deliver a different ownership experience. The S90 with tinted windows looks very masculine and intimidating in a weirdly sinister way. A 5-series looks good but in a sporty way. Volvo and BMW have the best seats in the business.
Piano black trim? Have we not learned from Cadillac with all the finger prints? Also why do the front vents in cars have to be so damn big in the middle? Just give us a bigger screen. Car looks amazing on the outside.
Thank you for showing the 316 HP on the sticker, the HP spec is still important to some if not most of us. What I know about "lower end Volvo's" is their backseats are REALLY TIGHT but as you so eloquently pointed out, the drivers seat was set to YOUR DRIVING POSITION and I know you're a big guy but this had miles of backseat leg room, damn near an A8L but for a good 60-$70,000 less and what, 17 less horsepower? But this is probably lighter anyway. The Audi V6 comes in at 333 HP? Throw in the Polestar tune and your're right up there. Thank you also for clarifying MADE IN SWEDEN as opposed to made in china which is a BIG misconception for a lot of people. Love the AWD for icy roads.
It would have miles of rear seat leg room regardless of the size of the driver.. it's a LWB car.. Volvo of America decided that starting second year production all S90's will be LWB in America.. I've sat in the back of one.. it's a strange feeling compared to a full size because there's so much space but the car is still significantly narrower than an A8, S-Class etc. I'd never shop the S90 against those leviathan's of the luxury class, but if you want a big sedan for a "reasonable" price it's one of the few remaining.
You'd be surprised what people are resorting to with lease-end issues. Some cars have recalls and can only be returned. Those who want to buy their car back can't until the recall is fixed, so the lease must be extended until the repairs are made. Some are left turning the cars in with only SUV's as their next choice of vehicle. It's a mess out there!
You are completely wrong, look at the sticker this vehicle is assembled at DAQUING CHINA not Sweden as you claim, where do you get your info ? Again Sweden parts content 26 percent, China parts content 36 percent and final assembly in China, just look at the sticker at 3:04
