- Join us for part two of our weekend away in Torquay in the English Riviera
In this one I start off with a review of our stay at The Imperial Hotel which was ok, the room was pleasant and the outdoor space was great, we then popped back to the local Harvester for some breakfast
The main highlight of the trip was a visit to the absolutely stunning Babbacombe Model Village and Gardens, I can’t recommend this place enough as we had a great time here and will be back later in the year for their garden illumination events

I was happy to read on Wikipedia that the sealife centre was able to find new homes for all of the animals after it closed!

Looking forward to our visit to Babbacombe next weekend and must combine Bekonscot with another attraction that way sometime, the sit on railway being the clincher.. Tilly certainly seemed happy, and Victoria has her eyes on that bunting when we visit too...

I was at Torquay 3 years ago when I went to a restuarant and also went to the closed down Living Coasts where I had a view of the penguins from the hill. They have been rehoming the animals aswell

If you went to the other end of the harbour in the direction of Paignton past the theatre you would have found a nice Costa in a modern building plus other cafes and restaurants. Good video but yes its more of a summer place! There is a lot to see and you really need a week there. Cheers.
Hi Andy and Lisa I love a model village. There is a model village at Corfe in Dorset. We paid like £8 and it was completely rubbish. It was a while ago though. The real castle there know is well worth a visit. It's near swanage that's a nice old seaside town. When we were in Torquay last year we parked next to that netting I wondered myself what it was . We went to Paignton zoo last year it was really good worth a visit next time your there . Thankyou for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx

There is a small model village in Polperro in Cornwall which also worth a visit if you haven't been to Polperro before

Really nice little touches in that model village 👍
Done Paignton Zoo and done the Penguin place in Torquay we stopped in Brixham in our Caravan when I was with my ex and my kids and my Family it's really nice down there never done the model village may have done it when I was a kid lol
