This Tani Avarthanam is for the Todi krti 'Aragimpave' in Tisra Eka (commonly called Rupaka). The talam speed is in ' rendum ketta Kaalam'- neither slow (2 Kalai) nor real madhyama Kaalam- very difficult to handle! What 'meettu' & 'chaapu' clarity & suddham! GNB does not take up the krti after conclusion of the tani.
In one of our previous videos, you had mentioned that it wasn't Vid Pazhani Subramania Pillai on the mridangam and I checked with some people and you are right, it is not Vid Pazhani Subramania Pillai. Thank you for bringing it up sir.
@@thecarnaticworld2627 Who said it was not Sri Pazhani? It is by one & only Pazhani. This Tani is for the Ktuti "Aragimpave" in Todi of Thyagaraja in Tisra Eka 2 kalai (commonly & erratically called Rupaka Tala) sung by GNB in Shanmukhananda Sabha of Bombay.
