- THE WRAP UP ON MY WARCRAFT SERIES WOOOOO!! A highlight of all the cinematics. T-minus 7 days until WoW. Watching Grom's death scene again while I was editing this together made me cry. :'( And Arthas... Just... WOW. What a character. I feel like Illidan should've gotten one more full cinematic.

Warcraft 3 really is a one of a kind story. It's no wonder that WOW was so successful for so long - they had just a great backdrop to build off of. Granted of course gameplay and features matter, but still that baseline begins with a good story to get you invested.
One of a kind tale, but story arc for Arthas is very similar to Kerrigan in first Starcraft, so is the ending.
@@StroggKingu There are some similarities, sure. Though I would argue they're very different characters. He betrayed his people (whatever his justifications), she was betrayed by her people. So you've got obtaining power for power's sake vs revenge going on at the core.
To this day, no other cinematic in any game can evoke the feelings that The Frozen Throne ending does for me. A masterpiece and a dear piece of my childhood
And the real kick was when wotlk cinematic started how frozen throne ended, it gave me the chills back in the day!
So many memories of my son sitting in my lap as we played this game... Now he is grown with his own son sitting in his lap. I miss adventureing through Azuroth with him .
After this WC3 playthrough I can't wait to see your reactions to the WoW cinematics including the in-game ones 😃
patch trailers too
She shupld be play wow to enjoy it more
@@carpediem9750 its to slow to be enjoyable storywise just like any other mmo
I thought she said she was playing wrath
Depends what you're looking for tbh. There are people who actually play it like a story and read all the quest text for the lore etc. It's never been why I played the game but it is heard of.@@Ciffer-1998
Seeing 1000 needles brings me back....😢😭🤭🫶🫶💯
Warlords of Draenor cinematic will give you a whiplash
Excited to see you start playing WoW! I hope you love my favorite game :D
I hope she also watches all the shorts, like the Warlords of Draenor.
Someone really needs to take her on a tour of Grom's monument in Ashenvale. And Becca, when you need a party/guild, you know we're here for you!
I'll resub to farm mats for what professions she takes....except tailoring 🤭😆💯💯
Is there a plan for a guild on WoW? I would love to be able to play with people wo are interested in exploring the world not just playing the same mythic dungeons and raid.
God damn. It was so fun seeing you go through this journey, Becca! I really saw myself in your stead, and how the story slowly dawned on me. I remember being completely numb after the ending of the Frozen Throne.
You absolutely MUST watch some of the WoW cinematics. Especially the launch trailer for WotLK. Man... I played through this series when it came out and it was more than 5 years before I got the Arthas story concluded. There is a reason that Arthas is one of the most iconic villains in gaming. And also a reason why Shadowlands was so very much disliked. As an aside, you will need to level up at least one character to 55 to unlock it, but I strongly recommend that you at least do the starting Death Knight campaign.
You missed one cinematic, the first one, the “we never paid any heed to the ancient prophecies” one with a footman and a grunt fighting. It’s the only one they remade for WC3 Reforged.
These were all the cinematics that I got on my playthrough! I was playing w/ classic settings however so they likely left it out due to that, RIP.
@@BravoBecca I would definitely recommend checking that one out also. It's kinda short, but glorious.
@@BravoBecca
I think you get it the first time you start the game, before you get into menu
try to imagine the emotions of the players who played the game in the early 2000s, and the emotions from watching these cinematics
So happy to have found someone reacting to Warcraft cinematics in their proper context. Thank you for taking the time to play the game ✌️
Top 2 of my most fave Warcraft universe cinematic: Arthas’ Betrayal and The Ascension.
Arthas climbing the steps into the Frozen Throne is very symbolic of his journey into legendary status.
he's gonna be fun to kill later!
literally decade later: "where's my invincible?!?! "
I've watched all your playthrough War3 RoC and TFT, it was like watching myself playing the game for the first time 17 years ago. Your reactions to the cinematics (especially the Grommash/Thrall and the TFT ending) really touched me the same way it did the very first time I've watched it, it's impossible to see conclusion of the orc campaign without sitting for a moment and cry.
I'm eager to see your reactions to WoW
I discovered your channel with your Warcraft 3 playthrough.
So cool the way you got into the story and the characters.
WoW next? Yesss !
In the meantime, I have your Diablo 4 playthrough to catch up on 😊
I like this chanel. Finally someone worth watching.
"Return the Blade"
"Complete the Circle"
after one last moment of hesitation Arthas hears one final voice
"I'm sorry Arthas I can't watch you do this
Wow, I couldn’t believe you were doing a playthrough on my favourite game just some weeks ago! The reactions are super sweet, and they arouse a lot of old nostalgia. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing tou experiences with us. It is a precious thing to experience such sharing. Sending warm happy kitty thoughts. Look forward to seeing what you do next.
watching Grom n Thrall, I always get the same eyes as you do
Yeahhh nice highlight gonna see it this afternoon, i love that you love Grom too!!! and yeah damn shame "Frozen Throne" didnt have as many cinematics as "Reign of Chaos", having an intro/Outro per campaign would have been awesome.
i've been playing this game since i was 2 y/o back when it came out, and i still come back to it because its just so damn good and i cant wait to see your reaction to the story moving forward, although i dont know how you plan on following the story playing wow, because to me it seems kinda difficult due to many factors, one of them being that the games dont actually show the whole lore, to get the full picture you'd have to read the novels, for example, reading "Arthas: Rise of the Lich King" will give you more in depth about his childhood, his relationship with jaina, uther, muradin; a bit about his love triangle with kaelthas, his mind during the culling of stratholme, and much more
The playthrough of Warcraft 3 was very cool. If such a video came out with a view of all the cinematics, maybe you will someday think about Starcraft 2 walkthrough? The missions in it are many times more interesting and diverse. Of course, in general, you know the plot of watching Starcraft cinematics, but I wonder if maybe someday it will be on the channel)
Honestly, probably not. Sadly my encounters with the SC2 community have been nowhere near as positive as that of WC3 and the other games I’ve covered here, and were (by far) the worst of any video I’ve ever posted on UA-cam. I actually just unlisted it last night after being fed up with having to delete 90% of the comments that come in on that video (usually only about 5% of the comments need to be removed on my other videos). I have zero interest in ever covering it as a result and will not change my mind for the foreseeable future. But I have loads of other games I’m excited to cover!
@@BravoBecca thank you for reply)
btw im playing starcraft since spring and yeah - there is so many salt players
Now thinking about purchasing reforged)
@@BravoBecca wow that's crazy I don't know why this happened I'm part of the SCII community as well as Warcraft and I loved your reaction. I don't know how the hell there could be such much negativity on a reaction for someone discovering the game. It's actually the opposite what usually happens because new players help keeping the game alive. There was nothing in your reaction to the cinematics that I could think of deserving of anything negative actually.
Too bad. Would've probably been a fun ride for you sad that some idiots ruined your experience and sad that we can't rewatch.
@@raydafuq3570 same its probs the new players being more toxic but i really enjoy the sc1-sc2 lore campaigns and custom campaigns
@@kohlvictor2124 well SC players were always toxic. I just don't get how you can be so toxic to someone not even playing the game that they don't even want to try it.
I follow you since 5-6 months. You are adorable and I love your videos, keep it up
If only they knew how powerful that "crow" really is lol, the power of the guardian is beyond immense.
NGL i wish you play WoW retail too, so you can see the cinematics in game of LEGION, that i bet you'll love
IMO the story of Arthas is the greatest in all of Warcraft.
looking forward to WoW. lots of questions on how you are going to do it, but not going to ask, going to wait for the surprise. Glad you enjoyed Warcraft 3, and hope you enjoy WoW
This summorizes all the greatest parts of wow lore, this also made for the first great 3 expansion in wow - everything from there is just more stuff for money, sure some good moments but everything is sparked from the core of warcraft from the RTS.
can't wait to see your playthrough of world of warcraft. :)
I'm excited to see you playing, Becca. :)
really fun to see how emotional you get xD
I just found you and totally binging as much content as I can. It looks like you don’t stream anymore. Woulda been great to interact with you somehow. Your StarCraft reactions reminded me of this zergling plushy I have. You can turn it inside out to make it into a baneling. Zerg for life =]
You definitely need to watch all the World of Warcraft cinematics.
Time to watch all the warcraft cinematics until the 3rd expansion at least if not more, it'll be worth it. 😊
100/100! Still have tears in my eyes.
Before you continue your journey in WoW, you might enjoy reading/experiencing some of the books that are set before, between and during warcraft 1,2 and 3.
In (sort of) chronological order and some info on them:
Rise of the Horde: technically takes place between Vanilla WoW and the first expansion, but it's mainly comprised of giant flashbacks that show how the orcs used to be before they unified and became the horde and invaded Azeroth (sidenote: in the earlier games Azeroth is the human kingdom with Stormwind as it's capital, but pretty soon after that it was changed so that Azeroth is the name of the planet and Stormwind the kingdom, the capital is now Stormwind City). At the end of each chapter there's a bit of writing from Thrall's perspective from the "present day" musing on how things used to be and so on. The only thing that's a bit of a spoiler is the very last of these musings where something is revealed/mentions that sets up part of The Burning Crusade. Personally i would say it's not that big of a deal if that little bit is revealed early but i suppose others a different opinion on the matter (i encourage people to discuss without any spoilers XD).
The Last Guardian: set during WC1, this is as close as we get to a true canon version of the events of WC1, since the humans and orcs both win in their own campaign. It's mostly focused on certain characters, the big one being Medivh, the eponymous Last Guardian.
Tides of Darkness & Beyond the Dark Portal: like you might have guessed from the names, these are the novelizations of WC2 and it's expansion. Similarly to TLG it's basically the canonical version of the events of WC2 AKA the Second War. An important character introduced in this is Alleria Windrunner, Sylvanas' older sister.
There's a bit of confusion about wether Day of the Dragon takes place before or after Beyond the Dark Portal, i think there's just some details that don't match up but it's probably best to read BtDP first since it's a direct continuation of ToD.
Day of the Dragon: this one is set between WC2 and WC3. it's more of an original story, a fun little adventure starring among others Vereesa Windrunner (Sylvanas' younger sister) and Deathwing. It also provides important backstory on Deathwing and dragons in general.
Lord of the Clans: also set between WC2 and WC3, this is Thrall's backstory. It covers his rise to becoming Warchief, his relationship with Hellscream and leads directly into the intro/tutorial campaign of WC3.
Of Blood and Honor: a shorter story, set at the same time-ish as Lord of the Clans. This doesn't really have major effect on the rest of the story, but it introduces some important characters for later as well as giving a look at how life was during that time.
Arthas, rise of the Lich King: This is Arthas' life story, from when he was 9 years old through the events of all the books and games up to this point. It's all seen from his perspective, it shows his upbringing, his relatonship with jaina, and his inner monologue during the missions of WC3 (it partially serves as a novelization of the WC3 campaign). This one is i think considered one of, if not THE, best warcraft novel. (nvm just saw you're already reading it, i'll leave it in in case someone else wants to use this list)
Cycle of Hatred: a smaller story set a year before the start of WoW, told from Jaina's perspective and also gives a glimpse into what life's been like for Jaina.
The War of the Ancients Trilogy: similar to Rise of the Horde, this technically takes place at some unspecified point during Vanilla WoW, but the main characters quickly timetravel back to the War of the Ancients, the first invasion of Azeroth by the Burning Legion 10,000 years ago, which was repelled by the ancient Night Elves. Also explores the relationships between Tyrande, Malfurion and Illidan.
There's many more books later on, some which have major impact on the overall story and others... not so much. Regardless, it'll be a while before you get there.
Regarding the first sentence of this comment: besides reading the books or listening to an audiobook version( which i think extists, maybe even a free one on youtube) there's some other ways the community has brought these stories to life. Day of the Dragon, Lord of the Clans, The Last Guardian and Of Blood and Honor are all part of a collection called Warcraft Archvive, coincidentally all of these (except OBaH) have been made into custom campaigns for Warcraft 3 Link: www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/day-of-the-dragon.80854/ There's some spoilers on this page (they expected everyone interested in playing this to already know the story i expect XD), so maybe just download it without looking at the rest of the page.
www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/lord-of-the-clans.80448/
www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/the-last-guardian.140145/
The creator of these is also working on one for Of Blood and Honor.
There's a humorous retelling of the events of Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal if you're into that sort of thing, i haven't seen it all myself but i don't think it's the best way to experience that story for the first time lol. Still if you don't want to buy or read these it's a faster way to experience it for free.
Tides of Darkness: ua-cam.com/video/IaDcpL0xqIg/v-deo.html
Beyond the Dark Portal: ua-cam.com/video/n8ZOknwqK7w/v-deo.html
There's also Chronicles of the Second War, an effort to recreate those stories in Reforged but i think that's far from done.
Since you'll be playing WotLK there’s one novel that takes place between The Burning Crusade and Wrath: Night of the Dragon is set between TBC and WotLK but is mainly relevant to the expansion after that.
One last thing you missed(i think): there's three extra missions for the Prologue campaign that Blizzard made that take place during the voyage of Thrall's horde to the west (these were originally part of the prologue but were cut). It explains why there's Jungle Trolls with the horde now instead of Forest trolls that were part of the horde during WC2. Forest Troll are the larger green-skinned ones that live next to Lordaeron and Quel'Thalas, while Jungle Trolls are the smaller blue-skinned ones that primarily live south of Stormwind. You should be able to find these missions in the custom campaign tab if you have Reforged (they're probably also downloadable somewhere else). This campaign is one of the things they actually improved for Reforged; they added voice acting to the dialogue. These missions are pretty relevant for WoW, since the Jungle Trolls of the Darkspear tribe are the ones you can play as in WoW.
Anyway sorry for the massive comment haha, i look forward to you continuing your Warcraft journey!
13:26 remember Grom’s death, later in WoW you will understand why :) Looking forward for your WoW reactions
So i was thinking with you jumping in to Wrath classic, is there a plan to avoid seeing things like expansion cinematics in advance? It's going to kick off with that expansion's cinematic as you launch the game.
Are you thinking of skipping it and then watch the cinematic intro for vanilla classic? Since the cinematics are available to watch from the login screen. Then play through and watch the expansion cinematics as you reach their points in a chronological timeline? Like getting to 60 and then watching BC's cinematic, getting to 70 to then watch Wrath's?
Or just watch the 3 cinematics and then jump in game?
Becca, to be honest, I think Night Elves were considered mortals since immortality was gifted to them and not inherent to them or at least that is my head canon.
They were immortal like the elves from Lord of the rings were, can't get sick or die of old age but can be killed, but after the loss of the world tree they lost their immortality, and then they planted teldrassil as an attempt to regain it but never did
time for wow cinematics
And all of the patch cinematics 💯💯💯🫶🤞
ESTO ES CINE
You just know warcraft 3 ain’t pulling no punches with just the first campaign.
The literal meaning of shit just went to 100 real quick
Well, we can only wait for Becca to make reactions to cinematics for Overwatch and Overwatch 2
Fun fact - those sea monsters are ex night elf ;)
hey how much money did you spend to buy warcraft 3? that i seen in your short? and btw cool video and also where do i find the full campaign cutscenes like in the video thx
the experience of world of warcraft becomes 100x better if you first finish warcraft 3 campaign is just crazy
and now all WOW cinematics, ingame cinematics and even patch cinematics? basicly all cinematics ? :D
For heavy and a bit similar story maybe try Starcraft 1 too.
I like ur hair
please, a world of warcraft cinematic and ingame cinematic reaction, with the Hurricane Remade
So after getting familiar with the story, who are your top 3 favorite characters?🤔
next video Wrath of the Lich King
Waaagh! 🍚
Till this day I'm a still a Believer that Arthas did nothing wrong at Stratholme. Also recommend watching the Arthas did nothing wrong video.
I hope you play Horde. After playing WC3 how could anyone ever be a filthy alliance dog.
Zug Zug
i u want to continued to WoW, i recommend u watch the Histroy of Warcraft lore from the begining first so u can understand better of what is going on in WoW
Will you be playing World of Warcraft after this? ^^
WoW is a different beast though obviously since it's an MMO and doesn't really provide a linear story experience like Warcarft. Hope Becca is aware of that going in. You also rush through the levelling experience these days in the retail version of the game compared to when the old expansions first released. Either way I hope she watches a compilation of the cinematics for any parts of WoW she doesn't play!
Is it me or does she actually look like MJ in Spider-Man The Spider Verse
te recomiendo starcraft si quieres jugar un juego similar, son muy parecidos pero con diferente historia y de la misma compañia blizzard
I really like the ending of human campaing cinematic, but the spanish version becouse an extra dialog when arthas kill his father. On english he said "succeding you father". But on spanish he said "succeding you father. Let your eyes close now than mine have opened". War3 spanish voice actors were so good than when the reforged version was up, and they changed the voices, they ruin this version.
Hi Becca! Can we get a reaction to the Total War: Warhammer trailers and cinematics? Warhammer is the setting Warcraft is sort of losely based on (Blizzard was suppose to do Warhammer game, but they ended up having a disagreement). Here is a playlist of all the faction trailers for Total War: Warhammer: ua-cam.com/play/PLzfUt0yFJnIMdDumgtUNNzXwFCNSUF4hw.html and the cinematics are here: ua-cam.com/play/PLzfUt0yFJnIMJa-DaxZnvTLRSK3BPTxfM.html or if not, there are people who have made complete compilations of the videos if you prefer :)
You mentioned earlier playing WoW, but I really have to warn you that trying to experience the story of WoW chronologically is a massive pain in the ass because of how Blizzard forces new players to level in specific zones. In addition to that, the story gets progressively worse and will feel way too distant about what you enjoyed from Warcraft 3. If you are intent on playing WoW, I actually recommend Classic WoW instead. Either Vanilla Era or Wrath of the Lich King. (Vanilla is the best IMO).
Missed one! ua-cam.com/video/Et77a6iq3ww/v-deo.html
