Comparing camping in uk and camping in north America continent made me laugh. It like comparing armed bank robbery with a 12 year old stealing a chocolate bar, they are both theft but one is just a whole lot more dangerous !
Raya can play as an extra defender in possession, offering passing options, creating numerical advantage. Keeping possession so that we can maximise the quality and quantity of our possession, ball progression and chance creation, which would eventually turns into goals. It also means the opponent will have a lot less of the ball, so we will concede a lot less goals. Attract the opponent to press him so there will be an unmarked teammate elsewhere, breaking the opponent’s press. Raya has brilliant vision, game reading and decision making on when to pass slow/fast, when to go long/short, dictating the tempo at the back. And also, great long and short pass accuracy. Playing tiki taka passes. Silky with his touches, close control, dribbling and passes. If any team wanted to improve towards the very top in modern football, they will have to eventually sign a ball playing goalkeeper. Bravo and Onana might not be the final answer, but JoeHart and DeGea must be replaced.
You'll be telling us he can fly a 747, walk on water, eat 600 big Macs in an hour and walk like an Egyptian next u fool What about winning the EPL? How's that going for him?
I used to drive a taxi. In one day I asked three passengers what part of USA they were from all Canadians 😂 George is the best kind of American. Hes a Canadian. Ryan Reynolds Bryan Adams. The list is endless 😂🎉
Arteta wanted Raya for 2 years before signing him. If you think he is replaceable you need to head checked. Rice is untouchable even tho Arteta wanted zubimendi, saka untouchable even tho Arteta wanted raphinha…
I think you guys are forgetting all the reports that came out when Raya first joined, about how blown away Arsenals coaching staff were by him in training. I don’t think for a second that Arteta bought Raya and thought he’s 100% the number 1 now. He came in, impressed and won his place in the team. Selling Ramsdale after a pretty good season then replacing him with Raya who could potentially flop would be too risky. There’s also no way Arteta could have predicted that there would be so much media backlash about it all which had a major effect on both GK’s confidence. Also I’m sorry but ramsdale was never going for £60M in a million years.
Kai Havertz isn't the "X factor" Arsenal are looking for but he doesn't need to be that, if you could get Sterling or Martinelli back to their best you have that X factor, the guy to score a late goal in a UCL game. Havertz in those games can just become a piece of the puzzle, linking up play helping the likes of Sterling, Saka and Martinelli
I think the comment about stars is interesting because ability, just look at the numbers, Bukayo Saka with more G/A at 22 than Ronaldo and Bale, a guy who hits 30+ G/A a season isn't a star player according to these people but Rodrygo is despite his best season being 25 G/A. I think the difference is now the stars aren't given license to do what they like because managers like Pep realized that that your better working as a team than relying on a star player. That's why the likes of Rodrygo and Vinicius are considered star players because they play under a manager who coach the old philosophy. People see the likes of Mbappe, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Leao etc who are given license to do whatever they like and it makes nostalgic fans believe those are the only stars because they remind them of the old legends of the game
@@thierryhenry674how do you not have havertz? Arguably one of arsenal two or three most in form players, and Trossard has been awful when he’s played left 8. Trossard should play 9 or LW, though I think against spurs we might go for more pace
Is there evidence of forward players meaningfully improving their finishing as their career progresses? Maybe looking at shot efficiency vs certain xG bands? Edit: I guess there IS evidence available. I’m wondering if anyone has examples at hand. As for Havertz having everything: my big gripe with him is that I don’t believe he is technically reliable (ie, his touch and maneuverability leave me scratching my head sometimes). That said, I’d probably just add finishing to his skill set vs the other technical stuff.
If we dont win the prem. We must get some silverware. Horrible feeling it could go to the last match of the season again. If City get points deductions and we win because of that. I will happily take it.
@@tjones8402 I know it sounds harsh but that's what we need at the moment. We need kai to be ruthless in order for most of the fanbase to really trust him as the main 9
@@BrendaAnyiwo I get that what’s people want, I just think it’s unreasonable. I think he’s got the 3rd most G/A in this calendar year. He needs to maintain it, but there’s little to no recent reason to doubt him. I think it’s starting to become holding onto the past and ignoring the reality.
I like listening to you guys because you do talk well but you do miss the bigger picture with the expectations. We have good players and yes we can win things but we had a shocking window because we still haven’t got a striker and if Havertz picks up an injury then we’re completely knackered. It’s not looking amazing at this moment but obvious things can change so we’ll see. Just remember that you are allowed to speak your minds without it sounding negative

Competing for a place can be done in practice as much as in taking turns on game day !
