The staple holes in the books were not consistent so the chances of the holes being in the same place between books is slim. Therefore, CGC can see the extra holes.
If the Aussie don’t have posters inside they are incomplete. High grade are definitely tough to find. Mexico editions are closest to original publishing date and also extremely hard to find and expensive.
Hi, Dave From, Comic Book Investments, didn't Mick Anglo get hired to create Marvelman, because the twenty-fifth issue of the L. Miller and Sons publishing in England needed that next issue of Captain Marvel to re-print for Britain, but since National/DC had a cease-and-desist against Faucet Comics, so since Capt Marvel was no longer in print then, L. Miller just still used the same numbering, but they had Mick Anglo's Marvelman and the rest of the derivative characters -isn't that the story, or is your story correct? What up? Thanks for the run down, but I think if you have another camera pointed at that display stand, and then just have that display stand image to the left over the spider-man statue -no? I mean, why not show the book you are discussing, so we can see it entirely perhaps? Thanks, Dave From -Peace lol!
Hi Dave I’m curious if you think newsstand variants are worth getting into and roughly how much value does being newsstand value compared to regular comics ty
The value difference only matters on 9.6 and 9.8s. There is no value difference on anything lower than that. 9.6 is about 25-50% more value. 9.8 is 50% - 100% roughly. Really depends on the year of the comic
300~ with the price variant being 10x times that seems very cheap for 1st Wolverine's nemesis; sold mine 30yrs back for 150$ hasn't gone up much same #copies in census as hulk 181 and most other popular bronzes
I wish CGC would grade the Marvel and DC treasury issues .
Nice pick up on thar warrior 1 and great video ty
Love seeing you rocking the Philadelphia Eagles !!
Oh man! Spawn 222 9.8! Very rare. Awesome book. Probably one of my favorite Spawn variants.
I just graded my Warrior 1. Got a 9.4 too
Cool books! Thanks for sharing!
I love your stuff. PLEASE weigh-in on the whitening debate- restoration or not?
Another very good video thank you very much. I enjoyed it. 😊
Wilmington NC, where I live, is one of the towns/city where Marvel Comics tested the market with their price increase/price variant.
double cover 9.8 sheesh
video suggestion could be whats in the vault? Would love to see some ultra heat haha
6:50 very interesting indeed
How does CGC know a comic is married? If the staples are carefully taken out and re-inserted through all the holes of the married pages?
The staple holes in the books were not consistent so the chances of the holes being in the same place between books is slim. Therefore, CGC can see the extra holes.
High grade 1st V for Vendetta is a solid vault book IMO.
*_These new magazine cases, do you know how thick the magazine can be?_*
Not sure. But I know the Nintendo power is pretty thick
Have you ever explained a cgc red label? That could be at least half a video! 🤔
And I just got my tmnt 4. Also a 9.8! Lol. I wish you could say what that and the Warrior 1 is worth. I'm curious.
Hi, just wondering what you would price a 9.0 Xmen 107 35c variant? I have one at cgc right now and I think its going to come back around a 9.0

They have them. They are complete. Yes foreign can be very hard to get

What are your thoughts on Canadian Price Variants from 80’s having higher price point? Being 90% less of USA run… much rarer.
Cad > US > UK (despite UK also being much more rare than the US).
The first hot girl or the first hawk girl?
Lol. Hawk girl

The prices you quote that books are worth is usually waaaaay too high. You can get a vampirella 7.0 on the regular now for less then you quoted a 5.5
The prices on those Australian books and modern books are incredibly stupid. 😂 Anyone buying those....good luck.
Been awhile for me !
I have a few copies of iron fist 14. What are they worth?
price is based on condition of the book.
300~ with the price variant being 10x times that

So ads are important now....lmfao
Please comb the front of your hair
very rare
and very ugly
Is there a date for the next auction, Dave?
