This fly was born in the state of Montana, USA was created with the idea of imitating a nymph of stoneflies (Stone Fly). Its effectiveness in fisheries and their characteristics "gummies" quickly led him worldwide fame as a few. In Argentina had an important impact on fishermen in the 70s which quickly adopted it as one of the most used models.
like all "germinal" fly has a lot of variants and has been the basis for many subsequent and perhaps fly through which the binders and fishermen of the time accepted've definitely incorporated gumdrops as a binding material important basic models .
While it is a nymph is for many considered an attractor under water, is peculiar how effective it is with fishing techniques that are not associated with the Orthodox fishing with this type of flies, such as use with sinking lines, sink tip and often drags making remarkable leeway.

Great video. Appreciate the history and information that you add in the description.
Wellcome
This is a long forgotten pattern that has been around for many years and its killer . Every one who fishes Stonefly's should have a bunch of these in different sizes and colors. Good job on the tie :)'
