I love how Tony just keeps reminding Richie to build the ramp. it is like how a father is dealing with a stubborn child.
Richie is a captain. He’s in a leadership position and should understand that it was not a request, it was an order to build the ramp.
"I'll build a ramp up to your ass...drive a Lionel up in there"... possibly the funniest line of the series.
Agreed. Some of the funniest shit I ever heard someone say. And his deliverable was perfect 🤣

Beansie getting crippled by Ritchie was probably the best thing to happen to him. He was basically able to retire to Florida and get away from all the madness of New Jersey. He probably was the few who lived at the end.
I don’t remember the Florida part
@@Clowncentral101 when Paulie and Tony had to run to Florida for a bit to lay low, Tony visited Beansie at his house in Florida.
@@mikedawolf95 oh damn good for Beansie
Yeah and Beansie was loaded, living his best life in luxury.
He later died of alzheimer's.
I’ve never seen a show, a movie, ANYTHING, with this quality of acting.
Goes to show how old school and respected Richie was for basically telling Paulie and Syl to kick rocks in that first meeting. Don’t think many guys could’ve gotten away with that
Definitely hear what you're saying, but seeing how quickly Junior was willing to turn on Richie, as well as Albert not going along with his move despite him resenting Tony's handling of the construction project in Fairfield shows me that Richie wasn't all that respected aside from him doing 10 years. Feech was a much bigger threat to moving on Tony since he probably would've had some backing from guys outside of Tony's circt
He was a made guy, and the ramp wasn’t. It was between the cripples and the wheelchairs. Real grease ball shit.
@@sethevans7587Paulie never took shit from anyone, yet he stayed shut when Richie pretty much cooked him. Not even Walnuts wanted the smoke.
Sil would later counsel Tony about Richie: “I genuinely don't think there's anything to gain by keeping him around.” If Janice hadn’t done it first, Tony was going to have Richie killed on Silvio’s advice. Like his nephew Jackie, Jr, Richie way overestimated the clout of the Aprile name and his value to the DeMeo Family. In the end, Richie was a good example of a guy begging to get killed.

It's 50 grand to drop it and put it behind you.
If someone purposely ran you over with a car, then said "ah my bad, here's $50k let's forget about all this", what would you say?
I’ll probably hire an outside source with that 50 grand and have Ritchie wacked.
Richie is so good in this scene. Perfection.

Paulie WaLnuts was so believable, without him this show would not have been as great.

😂😂😂
5:13-5:33 there was so much said there. "You gotta take it", meaning "that's how we handle it, don't even think about settling it any other way".
Other wise your wheel chair will turn into a casket.
Real gangster shit
@@bumpydoo1183 if somebody put you in a wheelchair like that, would you be afraid of a casket? I would have told tony to go fuck himself with that envelope.

Beansie was a badass. Got ran over by Ritchie, was determined to walk again, kept his mouth shut with the cops, and told Tony “fuck you”. Beansie is my hero!!!!
But he's a shopping cart.
Hey Beansie, you got a bee on your legs
Tony was the most narcissistic character on the show. By giving Beansie the $50K he absolved himself of any guilt for not doing anything about Ritchie. In the meantime, he made himself look weak as a boss by allowing Ritchie to disobey him publicly and getting away with it. Janice had bigger balls in the end and dealt with Ritchie better than Tony.

By Junior saying “Terrible accident that kid had” really meant that he agreed with Tony about building Beansie a ramp out of a gesture of respect. Richie has immense respect for Junior which swayed him to build it.
