Hello! Yes, it will have largar Spaces between the stitches. However, I would recommend for you to do a small test with the yarn you have. Maybe you will like also. If to spaced out, you can chance the stitch pattern and include more purl stitches. Hope it helps!
Hello @lexa249! First, measure around leg calf, since there are no decreases, it is important to be fit just below the knee so it won't fall excessively. Then, in my case 34 cm (flat) gave 80 stitches with the yarn I was using. Then, I added 1 stitch so the pattern "closes" well in the round - knit 1, knit 1, purl 1. The total number of stitches needs to be a multiple of 3. Hope this helps
Hello! Yes it will probably be chunckier, slighty smaller and the little spaces between stitches will not be so visible. But you can try first some rows, as it also depends on the yarn. You can try and make a gauge first and measure, measure also the lenght you wish on the leg and the width. Hope it helps!
You can also try and make a knit3, purl 2 pattern in case the lines become fadier with smaller needles, and choose a multiple of 5 for the total number of stitches
Hi, will it going to be different if I use 4.5mm?
