Poogie wasn't in Monster Hunter Rise, because he was off training...
Lol too bad not many will understand this reference.
They never experienced the joy of poogie
This takes Hog rider to the extreme.
This was Bulldrome's Dad xD
@@JonBlack413 Most would understand, seeing how 90% of the people who are hyped up about this game are mh fans.
@@Soul_evacuated_Ian yeah that's obviously a target group. Though I'm not much impressed. Gameplay looks great for someone who wants to start hunting, but to me the karakuri are annoying and distract from actually hunting.
As much as I love monster hunter and it’s uniqueness, I’m not complaining that we’re getting more games like it. This looks fantastic so far, can’t wait to see more!
The problem with these type of games is that they leave you very little time for other games. When Monster Hunter World released, nearly half the year went by before I touched another game.
low tier posting
I mean monster hunting games are a whole genre since the late 2000s, especially since they were most prevalent on the PSP, like Gods Eater Burst or Toukiden.
Wild Hearts specifically looks like its meant to be a Toukiden spiritual successor since it's made by the same team.
Competition in a genre is never bad, forcing new ideas and trying to innovate. There's a lot in here that I wish MH had
Only Pokémon "fans" complain when they get more games of a genre the like.
Beautiful, I’d love to see a demo release before hand. Very excited for this one.
You can play 10 hours with an EA Play sub which is like $5/month.
Not saying they shouldn’t also have a demo, but that is one way to try it before spending a full $60.
I'm curious how they'll balance the speed of the monsters.
Because if they are too fast then you as a player can barely utilize that gizmo of yours, so it becomes redundant.
But if the monsters are too slow, then they'll just loose their scary aura and they won't pose as much threat.
The first trailer showed something like a harpoon/tether, so I'd assume they want you to mix and match gadgets for different monsters.
I'm guessing you can set some stuff up before aggro-ing the monster, and then lure it towards your builds.
Movement looks pretty fast as well
I'm guessing slow monsters at the beginning and faster ones towards the end. And as others have said, different traps will probably be utilized to take on different threats as you see fit to their weaknesses.
They need some sort of trap mechanics similar to MH
I can't wait to play this game! I just hope they've spent as much time on the gameplay and mechanics as they have on the graphics. It's stunning!
hope we get a demo, this looks really fun!! i love that monster hunting is its own genre now!
edit: yeah it has been its own genre since toukiden / ge came out.. my honest mistake 😅
It already was its own genre
@@maxwellerobini1603 Woah, can you send a link to the other wild hearts games? Would love to play them while waiting for this one :)
@@mint5438 toukiden, monster hunter, dauntless
Has been for a while, since gen 2. Its been 15 years my man.
@@maxwellerobini1603 I don't think you get what my original comment was implying
i just hope they work on the monsters a but more.. it essentially just stood there and wasnt aggressive at all essentially
My immediate reaction, compared to monster hunter the boar seems extremely static. You get behind it or to the side of it and it just doesn't move
I noticed the same thing
Ok really excited for the combat machanic
My biggest concern is the size of the monsters. Even huge monsters in MH almost always lead to camera issues, just running under legs not seeing what the monster is doing above which even happened in this trailer. If they were scaled down smaller think those issues wouldn’t be too much of a worry
Hopefully, since the game is being made with giant monsters in mind the camera will also be built for giant monsters.
Or the see through wire mode like MHR/World
@@Roanan. the trailer showed some of the issues I would be worried about. But hopefully it can be improved in the coming months as they finish polishing the game up
Yeah fr tho that boar was the size of Behemoth/Shara at leat lmao, truly gigantic
using massive models to avoid creating interesting mechanics
Would be awesome if we got a demo for this!
There is a 10hr demo it if you have gamepass ultimate.
EA play as well.
So we've a katana that can transform into a whip blade, a umbrella, a bow, twin daggers, and now a dual-sided blade that can transform into a shuriken. Niceee 👍🏻
I don't think those are daggers. They looked like tonfas that transformed into a staff that turned into a shuriken.
@@thepapit Could be yeah. Maybe they're both lol. Actually it seemed to work like that daggers/tonfas > bo staff (blades weren't out yet) > then dual-sided blade > big shuriken. It's cool that they're basically incorporating multiple weapons into one.
I will definitely continue to follow the process of the game!
I'm HOPING for a SINGLE PLAYER campaign that DOESN'T require an online connection and that the game overall is NOT online only and that the Co-op stuff is optional. Also, NO MTX NONSENSE EA!!!
Regardless, I'm excited that Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo are on a roll with the game rollout.
Most multiplayer hunting games that I’ve played at least can also be played alone and have some sort of campaign like for instance on the ps vita freedom wars and soul sacrifice and heck even monster hunter you can play by yourself now I can’t claim to understand why you would want to in a multiplayer game but that’s your personal taste so you certainly don’t need to play with strangers online if you don’t want I do agree that it shouldn’t be an always online thing requiring an internet connection and I haven’t exactly played a hunting clone that has required it so hopefully they nail this one
you are boring 🥱
i personally hate anything online only
I have tried almost every Monster Hunter entry and every dang time I find them completely inaccessible. I’m praying this game allows a more casual fan to play and enjoy it. I want to hunt giant monsters but I just can’t deal with complicated controls and inventory nonsense.
And yes, yes…I know, I know…I should “git gud.” But Monster Hunter just doesn’t click with my brain for some reason. I’ve played plenty of tough and complex games but this series escapes me.
Regardless, I’m buying this game to support more monster hunting games. Such a cool concept!
As a MH fan since MHF2 this looks very refreshing. I hope to see more and have high hopes for a competitor in the monster hunting genre :)
i do hope the armor showcase here are just low rank one and there are better looking in at high rank because beside player 3's armor, the other 2 or stuff in the trailer don't feel that temping to me.
Honestly, theres no competing against monster hunter.
totally needed you to mention fan since MHF2
@@tiltingart9276 it adds validity to his statement.
I honestly don't know how this looks refreshing when the aesthetics and gameplay look very similiar to MH Rise
For years I prayed for Toukiden 3, years!
Now that is happening I can't barely believe it!
imagine Bulldrome is freakin dominating here
this looks really cool. the weapons looks really interesting. those thing the player can build looks really versatile, really interested to see the full mechanic of it. the monster design looks really cool and the environment looks really vibrant
Really?
Creature design seem a little basic to me so far, would love to see more~
@@andrewcheng2852it looks way bettee than monster hunter imo
@@everythinghurts5853 Interesting, I have the exact opposite opinion😂
I'm unreasonably hyped for this. I trust tecmo but I'm still very nervous
same! what system you getting for?
@@StreetSamurai21 I'm getting PC. this game is so cool, that's if we don't all get nuked by Putin before it releases, sorry for the downer comment but it's on my mind.
This the one! I feel the same exact way
.....you noticed the *EA* logo too didn't ya 😏
@@BushinRyuCat EA is not a developer.
I'm a bit concerned with the size of the monsters.
The overall size being too large could make making interesting and balanced fights that play nice with the camera difficult
It looks like the monster is very in size. Based on this trailer and the first trailer they definitely vary in size.
definitely my first concern, balancing the distance to being able to see the monster while not being a speck on the screen can be tricky if the monsters are all that size.
Yeah, if the boar was about 3/4ths it's current size it would be fine but as is it's a little too much.
@@Xicarah idk man behemoth on MHW was pretty gigantic too and he had a amove that could obliterate your entire party 😅🤷🏾♂️
looks great, i like the concept of the giant bosses, and the setting
Looks like fun, wonder what weapons will be available
Loving the artstyle. Especially those weird wooden contraptions
I'm liking what im seeing! weapons having multiple forms is really cool. reminds me of the charge blade and switch axe. I'd probably main the katana lol. I love the Longsword from MH but I'd think it'd be cooler if it was the size like the one in both toukiden games. I hope KT may may some sort of sword and shield option.( between the s&s from MH and the one from toukiden, I'd chose the toukiden one lol)
This is refreshing. I love seeing new competition in the Monster Hunting space ☺️✨
dauntless
Monster Hunter won't give us Tonfas in a flagship game?
4:56 Ok we'll do it
This looks pretty fun. i wanna try it so please release a demo!
ㅇㅅㅇ
@@장송의프리렌-r7f do you speak English?
The big thing I hope feels better than it looks is the impact from the weapons, the video doesn't make it seem like there is much feedback when it hits. I would love a demo hunt so we can get a proper feel for it without me needing to speculate.
I love how the monster is not reacting to anything the hunters do ,no stagger animations or anything its just standing there
Because that is the Alpha build.
Yeah that was a bit weird.
Toukiden 1&2 was like that as well, only getting stunned very shortly during a limb cut.
I don't think it'll change much by launch sadly.
yeah, they don't understand what makes MH is so popular. it's the monster, not the hunter.
Remember Bulldrome? this is him now
I feel so mixed by this. Like in one hand I'm excited to see more monster hunter like games out there! and I like the aesthetic and the world! Another part of me feels like its lacking. Like pig monster seems cool but since it was so big it looked easy to avoid most of its attacks so it makes me wonder how does the difficult work? I know this is not monster hunter and how the gaming is still in development but I would like to see more movesets from monsters that seem threating. the abilities and items that player has seem cool and a bit OP so I wonder what else can the monsters do! I would also like to see the HUD while hunting to get a better understanding of the game because I feel like saw a bunch of cool stuff but idk how it works. Either way I think the game seems cool and promising!
I had this exact same mindset. Like, the monsters are so big they cant be fast or combo things quickly because there is no physical way you could get out of the way fast enough. The pig had about....4 or 5 moves it did that entire hunt, with pretty generous looking pauses in between. I'm not sure how I feel about the little device looking thing that you use to spawn all your...machine things? I'm hoping there are ways to hotbar certain ones or something, because cycling through all of them in the middle of fighting would get real old. Also hoping we get some blood effects maybe? Idk something is just MISSING about when they're attacking the thing. Really hoping we get a demo of this cause I'd be down to try it.
You... Literally saw this one monster.
That giant boar in the beginning was giving off some strong princess mononoke vibes
If A main line monster hunter release isn't coming out next year its a great time for this game and similar ones to shine
Can't be a new MH release next year since the current game is still ongoing and being updated regularly. As nice as this game looks visually I gotta say that the combat looks really bad or at least the showcase of it was. Still glad there's at least some competition though.
Gen 6 is prob 2024 but if they want they can release a teaser for it
This looks very promising, and definitely a different experience than we have ever seen before. Only thing to worry about I guess is making the monsters too easy, or the gameplay loop the exact same, because both will cause people to get a little bored or burnt out.
I mean, this has been the selling point for Monster Hunter since the franchise existed. Hunt and gather, over and over again.
@@YAH93 literally
@@YAH93 part of the selling point of monster hunter was the difficulty and skill required, as well as a lot of monsters feeling very unique. I'm worried this game will be either far too easy, or the devs won't have enough time to add the variety to the large monster roster that will make the game more fleshed out and enjoyable
@@joe_the_zombie including the 14 very different weapons
This game looks great, may the gods bless the team and hope for a bright future
Finally:
Apex Moswine Drome
Hyped. The mon sizes look huge so I wonder how dodging will work
I mean they showed a lot of the dodging in this trailer. There are two different gadgets I saw that made you dash, one made you dash in the air and the other made you dash on the ground.
Then you clearly weren’t paying attention. You just got a trailer that shows just that and it doesn’t work well.
I like the frog still twitching when you carve them
This game is going to be brilliant! \o/
Looking for fellow hunters to join me ingame when its out!
I would love to join but I don't own a pc or new gen consoles sighh

let's gooooooo!
talk about a love letter to the series
this is Beautiful
오오!!! 10월 5일이면 내일인가!!! 본방송 존버한다.

I am floored!! Very well Done! I cant wait to watch again and break this down. This Game definitely has my attention. February 17th Will be a fun day Lord willing. Because I cant wait to play this with Friends and the gaming Community. Great Job.
Umm WOW That was Epic, buying now!!
This looks amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Is it open world and are the hunts timed though??
Monster born game 🖤
Looks fun! With such huge monsters, they might need to improve the camera a bit though, seems to obscure the player character quite often.
or add the silhouette outline from Mh Sunbreak
i'm still so surprised that we'r getting it February, that's not far away lol
I’m happy it has its own things instead of just being a mh clone. You can see the inspiration but it’s different enough to stand out.
It looks like a cheap clone imo
@@jadsonrafael1635 well it’s not hunter blade, so that’s a plus
絡繰の羅生門イイね!カッコいい!
This is way more impressive than I thought it would be. Consider me hyped.
If the gathering and prepping/item management are done well mh might have a solid contender imo
bruh they made mosswine from mhw a boss
圧倒的映像美の中に

Hit boxes seem whack cause of the sheer size difference. Also your actuall weapons dont feel like they have impact, might just be a feeling you get from spectating though.
Bruh exactly what I was saying, those slashes don’t even feel like they are doing any damages whatsoever, it feels a bit off, and I would prefer some numerical hit markers to give a more sense of how much damage ur dealing bc it feels off when he attacks
FOR THOSE WHO ARE WORRIED ABOUT EA'S INVOLVEMENT IN THIS GAME:
This game is being published by EA's indie and external developer publishing label EA Originals, which allows indie and external developers to get their games published by EA while the original developers 100% own the I.P. rights to their games. Since EA is only publishing games under this label, they cannot get involved with the game's development aside from publishing and all game development decisions are handled by the original developers.
Wild Hearts is 100% developed by Koei Tecmo"s in-house studio, Omega Force and the I.P. Rights to the game are 100% owned by Koei Tecmo. This means that the game's publishing rights may get transferred back to Koei Tecmo at their request if the game does well along with potential sequels and/or spin-offs being self-published by Koei Tecmo (Much like how the publishing rights to former EA Original title "Knockout City" transferred to back the original devs (Velan Studios) after going free-to-play).
TL;DR Version:
1. EA is only publishing the game under their EA Originals label for indie and external devs.
2. Koei Tecmo 100% Owns the Wild Hearts I.P.. Not EA.
3. All game development decisions are handled by Koei Tecmo. EA is not involved in development aside from publishing.
4. Publishing rights may get transferred back to Koei Tecmo at their request of the game does well. Potential Sequels and/or spin-offs may get self-published by Koei Tecmo.
This Gameplay reveal sold me! As a MH player for years, this is the first time another game has hyped me!! I hope there truly successful…
2:04 getting smashed by a boar, that's a certify OG Monster Hunter experience right there...
I trust koei more than EA. I was a bit nervous seeing such a focus on traversal. But then the camera being jank sometimes fixed everything. It all seems in order as a monster hunter game. Can't wait 🤣
Really gorgeous areas too
Oh Wow ist das super schön ♥️
Ein Monster Hunter mit Prinzessin Mononoke vibes ♥️

Did they announce this at e3 or anything? Wondering how I missed it. Looks great. Saw it on a youtube ad.
They announced it not to long ago actually
E3 was last year? There wasn’t one this year lol. You been under a rock?
They announced this game maybe like last week
If you want a taste of how it plays they've also made the Toukiden series, which is very similar to MH looks to be the same speed at which it plays too!
I started playing Toukiden 2 on pc and ive had a blast playing it!
nah it sucks
Yeah, I've played all Tōkiden, Tōkiden Kiwami and Tōkiden 2. Really fun game.
@@KazenoVincent I've only just played 2, and that's very recently. Would you say it'd be worth going back, and playing the earlier ones?
surprised to see it feels more like horizon with MH aspects into it
I immediately thought of Horizon as well
Looks like so much fun but that combat was pretty dull... Seems like there are barely any moves or counters because they each just used hit & run tactics. Could've been intentional to keep us guessing, I hope that's the case... Everything else looked amazing, hopefully they clean up those fps drops a little. I'm still on board though!!! Excited 😄🔥.

I thought exactly the same
Bullseye shot with cherubin arrow straight to heart ❤️🌸❤️
Tiene muy buena pinta, pero los impactos con el arma son muy cutres.
I think my favorite part about this gameplay, how how there’s janky and something just ugly short transition animations, it mean we are see raw gameplay and not pre-recoded B-Rolls that are custom made just to show offf
Ansiosa pra esse game hein 😍❤️ que venha fevereiro
That's a huge Bulldrome, must be a large gold crown.
I know graphics aren’t everything but if we can get a monster hunter game that looks like this then I’m all in
Just give it a couple years. The next MH's title updates apparently have a larger budget than all of Iceborne, so you can expect something huge.
dude, this is ugly last gen graphics, Monster Hunter World looks much better, maybe even Rise looks better at least it doesn't have such ugly shadows
@@infernoodleOwO please elaborate because I'm not seeing anything wrong with the shadows
There were some environment textures that looked a bit rough imo
Just wait for next Gen mh in 2024 :)
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the possibility of pausing the game for young dads like me !
The combat looks kinda odd. Player attacks don't look very strong and they lack a satisfying impact, yet the monster still gives huge reactions and topples over.
the boar monster reminds me of that monster infected in princess mononoke....SWEET!
People talking like toukiden never existed against monster hunter
Most people think monster hunting genre never existed before mhw lol
Very Monster Hunter crossed with a Souls game. I LOVE IT!!!
I like this. It means MH team have to step up their game to stay ahead. Its a win for gamers!
Monster hunter + Minecraft + DMC , interesting
Looks very vibrant and the combat seems like tons of fun but the construction gimmic is not setting well with me .
If we think of it as using items in monster hunter it actually works
@@shinkenrock it works but I think the animation and the way it's used .. see as an example in this game you stand still to build a helicopter motor using some kind of a summoning gloves ? In mh you just put on a gliding mantle or use a clutch claw or wire bugs in rise .. its much more fluid and makes total sense in mh universe . The hammer trap thing is cool ngl but the wall trap ??
Nice game, nice music ... no blood at all, just fun. I love.
No blood is waccc asfk
That’s the one thing I would love in a MH game. Just an open world, instead of stages. Something like the guiding lands but more massive. Who knows, maybe MH6 might go that route especially after they see what success this game will have.
I hope we will get an in depth trailer this month to have a deeper insight about all the system the game has to offer since we are getting closer to release.
LETSSSSSSS GOOOOOOOO
I dont trust EA or KT but let's see how this goes the monster hunter system is close to flawless at this point let's see if this game can compete
This is looking really, really impressive. I think this could be Omega Force's lucky break 😌
Well we’ve have dauntless which was monster hunter but more cartoony, and now we have wild hearts which is monster hunter but less cartoony. Have to wait and see how that works out.
It looks beautiful and the combat mechanics look very fun.
Toukiden reloaded. The true succesor of a great game 🙏
Looks interesting, only problem i have with it is the size of monsters vs the environment. If they scaled down the monsters to fit the environment better, i think it would improve the overall combat xperience aswell.
yea it's kinda way too big for such a tight space it's going to be hard to see where you're standing. There's nothing wrong with having smaller boss monsters when it's going to be relative to the environment.
Tonfas that turn into a pole arm I can see the toukiden all over this game I’m excited
This looks fantastic!
Wild hearts kinda reminds of zelda botw and monster hunter rise which are my favorite games of all time, while still being completely new !
