I wasted three hours attempting to do this. Please consider the following before you attempt to do your own:
1. Do not use a regular paper as it is very thick for such a project. I believe there is a specific type of paper for origami so if you have this use it. DO NOT USE A REGULAR PAPER, or else it will keep on tearing and your hardwork will go air..
2. Doing this takes SOO long, and it is so hard if you're a beginner
3. If you're under the age of 13 this might be so hard for you so I *recommend* this for ages 13+ (This isn't a rule for sure, whoever wants to do it can!)
4. If you're planning to do this, you might want to slow down the playback speed in order to follow along.
5. Some parts you're gonna have to figure them out alone. For instance, doing the legs. In the video he does only one leg so you have to do the other three legs by your own. This is especially harder when you have to do the same thing on the other side. This applies for several steps not just this one, and yeah.
(Take my words as a grain of salt, this is my own personal experience as a beginner)

Folding a paper more than 7 times is the limit bcoz you are doing it layer by layer symmetrically.
This origami is based on shaping the paper is such a way to create a 3d standing model of Pegasus(as it shows) the layers here are distributed, spread, or just folded down for good appearance.

When you make us copy the same group of folds to the other side without showing us, it is difficult to follow. It would be better if you showed the steps again instead of making us figure it out ourselves. Other than that, great video.

I did it!! Thank you for the tutorial, I only had a few problems, like the paper fraying where I folded it too many times. But it’s alright! I used office paper (regular paper) and I put the video on 0.5 playback speed
I know this is a year later after the video was posted, but if you are having a hard time trying to figure out what the fold is as there are many places where it is very complicated, just try a few times and make sure to watch where he's moving certain parts of the paper. This helped me go through the tutorial with ease to make a beautiful pegasus.

The steps on the other side are the same as the steps on the previous side and correspond to each other. Just change the direction when folding. hope you can finish

Do not be discouraged! You can definitely succeed. Try slowing down the playback speed. Maybe you can keep up and try it a few more times!

Dica pra o BR que for reproduzir:
- Esse vídeo não é um tutorial, então tenha paciência pois algumas partes são difícies de entender e reproduzir.
- Use uma folha mais fina que o sulfite comum, vai ser mais fácil fazer ás dobraduras!
- Tenha noção que ele não mostra como todas as partes são feitas, então vc vai ter que improvisar.
Eu fiz numa folha comum de cor preta, deu trabalho e por conta da espessura da folha teve algumas dobras que não sairam com perfeição. Mesmo com os ''poréns'' consegui fazer um bom origami, então tenho certeza que vc vai conseguir, boa sorte...

Hey, thanks for your great videos. I am new into Origami and I am having a lot of fun. However, I have difficulties with my papers. What kind of paper with what thickness are you using (in the tutorial). Also is there a brand you can recommand. It feels like mine is very thick, stiff and easy to tear. Thanks again :)
Hello! Glad you had fun! I usually use some thin kraft paper, oil paper, crepe paper, etc. One thing they all have in common is that they are thinner and more flexible than ordinary paper, so it is perfect to use them for folding. I don't know where these papers are sold in your country, but I think you can search for "origami paper" on Amazon or some shopping sites and you might be able to find something suitable. If that doesn't work, you can buy it on Taobao in China and have it mailed to your home. However, I’m not sure about the international postage charges. Japan sells a lot of paper suitable for origami. You can search some Japanese shopping websites, or buy imported paper on your local shopping website. The size of the paper depends on the work being produced, and can be very small, such as a 10cm square. Or it can be very large and used to fold relatively complex works. If your paper is too thick, it may be that the paper is too small, or use the current thickness and choose a larger size of paper to fold! For 15cm paper, I usually use handmade paper sold in MUJI stores. A pack of about 80 sheets costs 9 yuan, but 15cm paper cannot fold this unicorn (Pegasus). Hopefully it helped you!

What in the everloving torture is this? Dude put it down on the board, slow your roll, and show us how you are getting those folds. 6 minutes in, I had it looking like yours then you went to fold and it looked nothing like it, I did not have that same pocket fold. You have this rated at a 3 star difficulty and I think the comment section determined that is a lie. My husband and I tried this for date night and now we're in couples counseling.
