I got the original PSR-1 from Santa when i was 8!!! More than 30 years later I still have it and it still works! My 8yo daughter used for a while but Xmas last year Santa got her a new PSR 363. It's great. The e463 is worth the step up for older players and you have the budget but the 363 is still great. Cos i got the original psr-1 I've become a yamaha fan. I worked in a piano store as a teenager and they far outperformed and out sold the competition. Their reputation is the envy of every company. I started riding motor bikes 7 years ago and my first 2 bike where Yamaha and I experienced the same high quality. Although they are having a few issues with their motogp bikes atm. I also have a high end yamaha acoustic guitar that I've owned for 25 years, it's still sounds and plays like new. I also know lots of people who have low spec Yamaha guitars that are just as old and still play great. In fact a family friend has has his Yamaha acoustic for almost 40 years! and it sounds better than any maton I ever played. Not a knock on maton, that particular yamaha is super rare and when they tried to compete with martin.... Ha Yamaha should start paying me for these reviews.
Eu tenho o meu desde 2015 ...😊e hoje uso com um ctx 5000... Porem nao consigo desfazer dele... Amo esse yamaha kkkk😅😅😅😅😅 otimo teclado ..com otimos recursos e preço bem acessivel ...
How to reset this keyboard sir same i have i got one issue while playing the volume gets high and slowly coming down and again slowly increasing same thing happening
Maybe hold the highest key down while switching it on? I’m not sure. I think the problem might be a physical fault anyway, I doubt that reset will help :(
I used to own e323, love the audio quality When I move to e343, just feel that the audio is not as great as e323. On the spec, e323 weighs 4.9kg while e343 weighs 4.4kg I couldn’t think of anything or where the weight reduction can happen. Other than speakers with reduced mass. Another cost saving?
Glynn if u still have that keyboard can you solve a doubt? If you connect the mobile via aux in an play any song, can you hear that song and what u play over just with a headphones connected? Or the sound from aux in is just to be listened on speakers?
@@gearfacts Thank you so much. I have been wanting some professional opinions on this. And one more question which one has better keybed or feel to it ? More depth?
Noted! You know it's funny, I occasionally get comments saying "If you want to review keyboards then you should learn to play first", to which I reply "I think it's best to demonstrate keyboards at an intermediate level, because the big companies always use pro players who give a false impression of what to expect." I guess it's all about balance :)

Wow I didn't even know there WAS a PSR1. I thought they started at 2. Sounds like you've got a real rare collectible there!
I had the PSR 16. Till I dropped it. Meh. Oh well. $5, but still.
Nice
I think has the best keybed in the entire psr-e lineup
Why? It's softer?
I haven't noticed any difference between any of them, but some ppl may be more perceptive than me about this.
Still a great keyboard 🎹. Now for suture psr e 3xx series Yamaha can add the two knobs and the pitch bend wheel😎👍
Excellent video.
I got a PSR-E343 recently at a thrift store for $25.
I might keep it.
Thanks Patrick, you got a great deal there!

Cool 🔥 🎹🔥🎶🎵

I think you could be right
Somehow the sustain pedal for this keyboard isn’t working at all for me . I don’t know how to fix it , any ideas ?
Does this Yamaha have single fingered chord option? Our you need to press all 3 keys in order to play a chord?
Yes it has single finger chording.
@@gearfacts thank you so much. I could not find this infor even in manual. How do you set it up? Is there a switch/button for this?
I'd like to hear the wurlitzer sound. Any good ?
Not all that great. The electric piano sounds were the category that really let it down.
i own an e343 and want to directly record all the voices directly to a daw . can you tell me how ?
i have been trying to do it but can't find a way
You'll need a decent audio/USB interface.
Does it split keyboard with ability for two patches ?
Yes
Any feature updates, upgrades, layering, volume adjustments to layers? Or it just the same old? ⚠ℹ
You can adjust the volume of the layers

The song and what you play will come out through the headphones.
@@gearfacts thanks Glynn!
how this compare to dgx 300/305 ?
more function ?
Fewer keys, but it has more sounds
Casio CTK-4000 or the Yamaha PSR-E343?
Personally I'd take the casio out of those two, but they're just about equal.
@@gearfacts Thank you so much. I have been wanting some professional opinions on this. And one more question which one has better keybed or feel to it ? More depth?
Why Casio ctk 4000? @@gearfacts
@@FeelFPVSimProgress They're very similar, but the CTK-4000 has a sampler.
@@nischalthapa8109 Too long ago for me to remember sorry! It's likely that the Yamaha played more nicely, but neither would be great.
Does it have a key lighting system ?
No :(
Honestly, do you think it is a good idea to buy this piano? I mean I want to buy it but I'm not sure.
I'd go to one of the models that starts with a 4. Even if it's second hand. Much more fun than this one.
Does this keyboard have DJ mode?
No.
I have the psr e243 and it's an amazing keyboard, sadly it doesn't have touch resignation but it's fine for me
Sometimes is good not to have touch response :)
@@gearfacts yeah true

We all know what an organ plays like but we want info not shows of how good you play
