2023 LS AWD here. Had it for 10 months, 21k miles. Awesome overall so far. Decent pickup, always 30 mpg in mixed driving, love the ability to shift on the fly from FWD to AWD. One weird thing I had immediately was trouble with radio/bluetooth. Took it right back to dealer, instantly fixed.
@ysmith494 the cabin noise is pretty minimal, my only complaint is it needs better speakers for music. I'm still in love with the car itself though and wish I went with the all wheel drive model.
Does it have back seat aircons and if yes where please. My son gets motion sickness so face aircon is a bonus. Is the spare type a biscuit or full tire please. I also drive a lot long distant. How does it go overtaking trucks please
I own the LS (base) model, and I love it, from someone who lives in a winter state, it does really good in the snow, my favorite feature is the seats, really comfortable for cloth, I plan on doing some upgrades, same color too! And I love it 😁
Just got my 2023 Trailblazer LT last week. 1.3l FWD with convenience and driver confidence package. Mahogany Red Metallic color. So far so good. Works well for what needed in a car. Though I wish it got a better back up camera like my friend's Nissan Kicks. I've been a Chevy guy.....starting from my Chevy Tracker LT to a Chevy Trax LS then to this Chevy Trailblazer LT.
Great work. I just bought one, and this really helped paint a clear picture for me. It was great to see the car the entire time. Most reviews just have a salesman walking around it, making it difficult to see the car. Keep up this style of video it was very helpful.
I’m glad you liked it!! I also have a 2024 and 2025 version of the video. In my opinion they’re much better videos than this early one on my channel. Thanks for watching and best of luck in whatever you decide!!
Those RS are sweet, glad you’re enjoying it! It’s always extra special the first day! I also just got a new car (Thursday) which I posted about yesterday! Thanks for watching and your support! 🙂
Just picked up an Active package 2weeks ago and I really like . The sunroof is the entire roof and it’s a comfortable ride w good pick up . Wait till the 2024 version . There will be a refresh with the dash display . Go Check out the display in the 2024 Trax . That’s what the Trailblazer will be getting .
Just leased a 2024 trailblazer LS in FWD (AWD wasn’t in stock unfortunately) with the 1.3 turbo absolutely love it! The only thing I miss is the little slot above the glove box but other than that very happy
I owned a 2021 trailblazer for 2 years and I hated it. I came across quite a few issues like having the awd service message constantly popping up on my dash since 3,000 miles. Another problem I had was that the locking and unlocking mechanism on my right rear passenger door, it just wouldn’t work. I did nothing but baby that car and still came across some big issues. Thankfully it was a lease and I obviously decided to get something else. I now own a 2023 Mazda 3 hatch and I am so happy with Mazda’s quality control with their cars.
I’m sorry to hear about those issues. They look so good but build quality appears to be the trade off in the price. Glad you’re enjoying your 3! I also just got a Mazda. 🙂
10,000 miles on my gfs 2023 trailbazer 1.3 awd with 0 problems! Great economical vehicle with room for a few passengers and cargo. Nowhere near as slow as you would think
@@HazardousRob not at all brotha. It's a 1.3 so its not made to be a sports car by any means. It's a daily passenger vehicle. It has plenty pick up and go for everyday driving.
I have the same model I have no issues with it he forgot to mention that it has automatic heated seats when you start it from your phone or keyfob and it also has auto lock feature when you have the key with you oh and you can also use voice commands using Alexa to control your locks and start your vehicle to also
Thanks! The AWD difference seems to be slightly greater than the larger engine. AWD 1.3T rated at as low as 26/30 so a full 13.2 gallon tank is 346 City or 396 highway. And other combinations would be slightly better than these numbers. Although the biggest MPG factors are how heavy your right foot is and how much time you have. 😉
Gosh Chevy is putting out some pretty cool looking vehicles these days. Even the new Trax looks light years better than the 1st Gen that nobody seems to remember exists.
I think it’s fairly smooth, it’s designed to be comfortable and not overly stiff on the road as that wouldn’t be as comfortable where this type of SUV likely will spend most of its time. Definitely go test drive one to distinguish its ride comfort for yourself though! 🙂 174” L x 71” W x 65-66” H
I wish GM would build a better car. They built some good ones up till the early 2000’s. I miss my 2001 Grand Am GT that I drove for 18 years with little problem. I even did burnouts in it and tons of 0-60’s and that car held up well.
@@HazardousRob mine started leaking in 2007 and then again in 2015. I put bars leaks sealer in the coolant and that fixed the problem. I still had the original coolant in it.
Absolutely agree! I had a 3800 series 2 car that I supercharged and did bolt ons to in high-school, it was sweet (minus the weak A4 trans and being wrong wheel drive)! But a push rod V6 that you could get to lope, sign me up lol.
You didn't show the gimmick that makes me consider the Trailblazer, the folding front passenger seat so you have a space you can put 8ft lumber in it. It is still a thing in these cars isn't it?
That’s a great question. You’d likely have to check the specific vehicle you want on a dealers website or build one on the manufacturers site to know for sure. I would think it doesn’t come standard as that’s typically an option that they like to charge a couple hundred bucks for. 🤦♂️😛
Its good until your REDICED ENGINE POWER warning comes on and it costs $1500 to replace the turbo charger if not under warranty!!! Mine did with only 8,500 miles on it.
It was well warmed up, and I only do one test typically. But your point is valid. I like to think that being at altitude where it’s not making full power and as much stress through system helps negate that concern a bit. Thanks for watching! 🙂
Let's see how this 1.2/1.3 liter holds up. . Why are people spending their hard earned money on this garbage? Oh and it's mated to a CVT trans even better lol
Lol, it will be interesting! I’m actually hoping ZZPerformance some day comes out with bolt ons and their own fabricated turbo kits pushing these 300+ HP and into the 12’s or better. 😛
Totally agree with you from the practicality and reliability stand point! Why risk it in comparison to a slightly larger displacement naturally aspirated engine. 🙂
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 Absolutely! considering what they want for a new vehicle these days. It sickens me. What's even sicker is people fall for it because they don't know better. The average person, by the time they get it payed off it's worth nothing.

But with how many have already been sold parts should be somewhat readily available soon and aftermarket support may build if they end up needing replacements. 🤷♂️ Edit: part of the reason I hope they’re reliable and someday a modifiable platform is because of what companies like ZZP have done with the 1.4 Turbo engines.

I own this exact model, and im very happy with it. Gas is pretty good and power is adequate for what I need it for. Also exact color too.

I’m planning on getting this same model with AWD.
How is the cabin / road noise?
I wanted the Active with AWD but it’s out of my price range.

That’s awesome, I’m happy for you guys! It’s a 3 cylinder, I wish it was a 3 liter, lol! 😛😎
You must be thinking of a different vehicle. Trailblazer does not have a 3 L engine.
If it did have a 3L like a modern BMW incline 6 3.0, I’d buy it yesterday! 😉
I want to say 3 cylinder
Thank you for the video.

Oops! I can’t say for sure, and hope another viewer can, but I would assume it still has that specifically engineered ability?! Thanks for watching. 🙂
Yes the front passenger seat can still fold down just got a 2024 model absolutely love it!
Is there buttons on the back of the steering wheel?
Great question, I don’t specifically remember as it’s been quite a while since I’ve been in one of these, but those buttons do sound familiar. 🙂
Yes! Volume, next track, previous track. (At least, that’s what my LS has.)
The Trailblazer does NOT have heads-up display, What you showed was for front crash alert.
Do the tires come with wheel locks?

Wow.... 1.2 liter and if you pay a couple of thousand more, you get a whopping 1.3 liter??!! That's it? 🤷♂️
😂 😆 yup! 18 extra horses, a 9 speed, and FWD biased AWD system. The liter size of these engines is definitely comical, but they are a fun little ride!
