As a Nuggets fan I've seen nothing but class and stardom from Jimmy Butler. A shame when the greats lose, but someone always does.
Heat fan here. Ya'll got a great team. Hard to beat after taking out 2 top dogs in the east. Gas ran out to keep that up in the finals. Jokic is a monster, he makes me roll my eyes every time he makes all his shots. Talent does matter in this league. Hope we can run it back next year with dame time.

I’m a Heat fan, Mike Malone is a hell of a coach and that hunger was real. Seeing Jamal go from damaged goods to champion, awesome. Don’t get me started on Jokic, should’ve 3 peat regular season MVP imo. Hope to see you again next year with a different outcome. 🤝

Lakers fan here. I just loved how Jimmy didn’t take the easy way out. The reporter tried to throw him life jacket with his ankle. Jimmy didn’t go that route or use that excuse. He said his ankle is good, they just didn’t win. Same as when they asked him what stood out in the last 2 minutes. He said , he turned the ball over. It was silent. I don’t think anyone was prepared for that answer. Mad respect to Jimmy!!! Again since my Lakers weren’t playing it didn’t matter who won. It was more about the players with these two teams. I wanted Butler to get a ring, but I also wanted Joker to get a ring and also the first win ever win for Denver

I cant say anything negative about this team. They had to fight out of the Play-In firstly. Then they beat the best team in the league because the Bucks had the best record of all teams. Then they clobbered the Knicks, and knocked out the Celtics in Game 7. They had an amazing run and i still believe in Playoff Jimmy. But the fatigue caught up to them and Nuggets was just too strong. Better luck next time Heats.

I wish people would be real about this. Jimmy’s a great player but he didn’t do anything extraordinary after that Grant Williams barking game. He was overly timid the entire series. Would come alive in the last 4-8 minutes of every game. You just can’t do that in the finals.

Bam played amazing super proud of him, but Jimmy didn’t show up at all in the most important game of the season. If anything that run he had at the end makes it worse, that shows he could’ve done more earlier.
Lebron if a reporter asks if he was injured after a loss would be like “Yeah my doctors said that this was one of the worst ankle injuries they’ve ever seen but I played through it. I’m heading to Germany after this press conference to have experimental surgery done on it. But no excuses.”

Nuggets fan here: Jimmy hit the nail on the head, when you look at this series it came down to which team missed more shots. The nuggets offensively outside of Jokic were terrible in game one but they managed to win. The Heat were terrorizing them on defense and that zone D absolutely had the Nuggets flat. If the Heat make a few more shots, this could have easily started 2-0 in favor of the Heat and we would be looking at a 6-7 game series with the Heat having a real possibility of winning that chip. Game three, nuggets played to win that game and I'm not sure there was anything really to point to besides the unbelievable play from Jokic and Murray for that win for the Nugs. Game 4 and Game 5, the Heat did what they always do, play unbelievable defense. I think this series outside of game 3 was an absolute dog fight, one that the Heat could have won if a few more buckets went down each game. Kudos to these two teams and we as basketball fans should feel so fortunate to have witnessed such a battle between two teams that really have some of the most straightforward and humble players on both sides. Lowry got my respect in that Raptors and GS series when he was yelling at the fans to stop applauding KD's injury and to see him battle is always a treat. BAM... who can that guy not guard? He absolutely shut down Jamal anytime he was on him and had arguably the toughest assignment the postseason in having to guard Jokic. I'd love to see him be Nugget haha. And Jimmy, nuff said. He and Bam carried a team and he unfortunately had 1 turnover... 1! that ended their fight. Unbelievable playoff run
I'm a Nuggets fan. One thing that I really wished for from the start of the post season, was for us to play vs. Miamy in the finals. Jimmy is an epitome of a fighter, of someone who will push till the end and will never give up and he is my favourite player outside the Nuggets. Miami as a whole were considered the underdogs and I am so freaking happy that they managed to get to the finals! Two most deserving teams, for sure!
