Wonderful video, thank you for sharing, I’m also leaving from Adobe for affinity and Corel. All the say there’s life after Adobe. Videos like yours help drive that home!! Thanks again!
I've never commented on your videos and now that I do, it's more of a general statement than a reflection on the video in question, but I feel compelled to do so nonetheless. After coming back to design more substantially after almost ten years and recently switching from Adobe Illustrator to Affinity Designer, your videos have been incredibly helpful in refreshing my memory and passion. This is primarily due to your deliberate, systematic demonstration accompanied by crystal clear instructions and well put-together sentences, which seems to be quite rare nowadays. I can't compliment you enough on this. Thank you for your time and effort!
Nice video, but as in most tutorial's they don't explain why hit the bake button..i mean what does it do? and when to use it, and many other questions that don't get covered.
FYI this specific video (and the abstract wavy lines video) converted me to buying your course. Practical tips with real world examples are hugely helpful.

At 1:15 if anyone is wondering why you can't split them into separate shapes, it's because you need to hit ESC key again.

May I ask you if the course is about Affinity Designer V1 or is it about V2?

@@celinéjvr7 I didn't know it before seeing it here. Good stuff.
I'm having a little trouble with this one - I can't see the object like shown on this video... I've used the \ key and nothing happens - help! 🙂
is not working for me on windows?
@@christophk88 Working fine here, but I misspoke (or it's changed): it doesn't work with art boards, only documents. Edited to reflect this.
