Rail Corridor is divided in to 3 parts, South, Central and North.
    Is it safe to walk?
Lets find out and you be the judge of it.
One thing is for sure, its beautiful, a tranquil feast for the eyes and ears, listen to the birds, insects, peaceful quietness, lovely green of nature away from the concrete forest of Singapore in the heart across Singapore.

The Walk Challenge 2 video took a while to complete as the rendering of the video took like a day and the rendering does crash or found a problem with the video and have to re-render again, adding more days.
Hope you like it, it is pretty much a challenge to walk the whole journey especially during the later half in total darkness and gravel pathway. Asking the question, is it complete as of 31st March 2024 and is it safe to walk especially at night in total darkness even in Singapore. (like are there other people like cyclist, joggers)
As you can see in the video, the south rail corridor were almost fully developed, still have a few more shelters and some LED lighting for some flyovers to be installed. There were many benches ready for rest, the pathway were solid and good, there is a water point at a mosque and there were many people passing by so it is very safe.
The central rail corridor was still developing, pathway were still gravels after Bukit Timah and no shelters. But there were still a number of people passing by, so it is relatively safe.
The northern rail corridor on the other hand is very under developed. Some parts of the pathway was like so narrow and there was hardly anyone except for foreign workers from the nearby dormitory. Kind of scary to see someone sitting right in the middle of the pathway in total darkness talking on the phone. There were no shelters at all so if one got caught in a rain, be ready to sing in the rain. No snakes or any animal encountered, no spirits were encountered so didn't get spirited away, but there were small snails trying to do their mad dash across the pathway.
I know the video is a little long, but my good friend is using it as a background walking(using it like a timer) as he was busy doing his work.

@@cangowalk Thanks! There doesn't seem to be any water point for majority of the way so i will have to bring my own water bottle if i were to jog the full length.

@@stickyex There are, on the PCN (KJE flyover), Rail Mall and Bukit Timah Railway Station there are toilet. Also at Mount Sinai access point, there is a caltex station 24hrs just nearby. At the crossing of Chua Chu Kang Road, you can go to Junction 10 where its a shopping mall. And of course the end point at Kranji MRT there is a Giant supermarket and some stalls there. So technically, no need to. Maybe just a small one for emergency.
      South
      1) Mosque (along the track)
      2) Mount Sinai access point (about 50m - able to see caltex from the track)
      Central
      1) Bukit Timah Railway Station (along the track)
      2) Rail Mall (along the track)
      North
      1) Junction 10 (Chua Chu Kang) (its along as you cross over Chua Chu Kang Road)
      2) PCN (below KJE flyover) (along the track)
      3) Kranji MRT (just across the bridge from the Kranji node)
I didn't include in access point that need to walk a little further away like central Bukit Merah access point has coffee shop about 100m away, Biopolis access point has tanglin halt market and Sheng Shiong about 200m away. One North access point has metropolis which has a Mcdonld's and 7-11 there, but its about 100m away. Alexandra access point has a coffee shop and food centre(Alexandra village) just 100m away.
Hope it helps.. and happy jogging.
