Don't lock your crockpot, it can explode the lid. I am on a Facebook crockpot site and it has happened to several people. That is just for transporting your crockpot. It builds up too much steam for the steam hole to let out

My family and friends just LOVE the chuck roast recipe and so do I! I accompany it with keto veggies and a small salad. Everyone leaves the table satisfied and any leftovers are requested the following day. Yum!

Definitely trying the cheese meatloaf and the shredded pot roast. I like to add iItalian dressing and pepperoncinis to the roast and then shred. Delicious! I meal prep every Sunday, religiously, to keep from cheating and I Love the convenience for the week.
I lost my wife of 53 years in 2020 and at the time I was 300 lbs. After she died I changed my diet to eliminate carbs as much as possible, haven't bought sugar, pop or flour since. Living in a small town with only 1 grocery store and about an hours drive to the nearest city where I might be able to find keto friendly options if I knew where to look makes it hard to go totally keto. I am now down to 230 lbs. I like many of your ideas but sizes are usually for a family, being alone now I have no problem making larger quantities so if leftovers will freeze well or keep well in the fridge for a week or two that would be good to know.

I've been eating my burgers without buns, and when eating out (which has been really rare since I've been keto, and even more rare since COVID), as lettuce wrapped burgers.

My family of 4 including 2 under 4 loves asian soups and creamy hardy soups can make a delicious easy meal. I'm not a meal prepper/planner because when I've tried it in the past and it comes time for dinner, I don't want what I've planned. Faced with a food I'm not in the mood for, I can't eat it. So, I plan meals the day I plan on making them. I grab my coffee in the morning, then sit down with my carb manager app to look for something that sounds good. If I don't have the ingredients, I move on to something else.
I've made my own catsup for decades and canned it. Do you know if using a sugar substitute rather than sugar would change the safety of home canning catsup?

BTW always meal prep (okay 90-95%)..gluten and lactose intolerant, so I try my best to avoid eating at cafeteria at work...even if listed gluten free I find it’s not always the case...I now buy prepared frozen gluten free items to keep on hand if I’m too busy to meal prep so as not to get tempted to eat out/order out.

I have the Instant Pot Duo Crisp. It has an air fryer lid too but I don’t really use it as an air fryer. I think my regular air fryer does a better job. I just use it as a pressure cooker. You could just get a 6 or 8 quart instant pot and save money. 😀

Hey there, I’m no expert but I saw your message and wanted to suggest just keep it simple. Find clearance meats, eggs, dairy and veggies and eat 2 meals a day. On keto it’s pretty easy to do. I also have the FlashFoods app which partners with your local grocery stores to mark down close to expiration items or just items they’re trying to clear out. Find great prices this way. Hope this helps!
