With people talking about the Lichen King, I think a top 10 things missed from top ten list would be a really fun list.

I love the ghotstlands. One of the best things about having the "new player chat" enabled is sometimes someone news needs help with Dar'Khan. I like to come down there with so "Inky Black" potions and force the new players to chug them before I help.

1:31 Think it's worth pointing out that mushrooms are fungi, not plants or animals. Also all three kingdoms share an earlier common ancestor too. All life came from microscopic single-cell organisms to begin with.
I don't tend to comment on youtube on anything but you've got me paying more attention to the scenery nowdays the way I used to way back in the old days of wow. i googled top 10 mushrooms after seeing cool red ones in silverpine thinking.. has he done a top 10 mushrooms yet? of course you have! thank you for adding more to the game by reminding us to notice the little things!
6:50 yep Fairy rings(witch rings we called) are well known here (in Germany) and they are often found in autumn and sometimes not rare.
There's a lot to criticize about Draenor, but the environment art was fucking amazing.
I don't even play retail but I love this series. The enthusiasm, editing (rhythm, pace) - all in all it's super well made.
Also, Sporeggar tabard should have made it onto the list !! Everybody disrespecting the best tabard in the game.

I'm surprised you didn't put the Lichen King on the list since you did 2 of the mushroom people from BFA, he's a rare mob in stormsong that is just a mushroom parody of The Lich King, for example when you kill him he says "There must always be.. a Lichen King.. and there is an achievement tied to him that references the bug from back in the day during the first ever LK kill where using a saronite bomb would bring back the platforms on the edge of the encounter ring, you have to use a 'sporenite' bomb while fighting him and you get the achive.
RIP getting his Fungmonre though, that did not make it out of beta for some dumb reason.

Finally! I've been waiting for this for a long time. It always felt weird to me just how you find mushrooms everywhere in WoW.
Ghostlands and Deepholm are actually two of my favourite zones in the game to be honest. I love them both.
As a Druid and 90s child, I approve of this list

I have a route I follow where I go complete a shit ton of quests and then I return to the city and turn in like 10 or so quests...
During development of TBC, artists were wondering why the fps were dropping so much around Zangar marsh.
Turned out some developper just took the giant, high-poly mushrooms and scaled them all the way down to regular size instead of using the low poly regular mushrooms.
I bet that all these "pointless" top 10s have made many blizz devs, artsits, musicians etc (current or past) very happy cus its all the stuff that usually gets overlooked but makes the atmosphere of the game so special.
I hope they see these yeah that would be awesome
The fungi being related to humans makes Resident Evil more plausible.

I would like to give an honourable mention to the Plaguewood in EPL. Most of the zone is the same boring palette, then BAM: giant mushroom forest. Honestly somewhat surprised it didn't make the list.

Two fun facts about the Whispering Forest Fairy ring! I've found it will pop every 15 or so minutes, and if you have the jukebox in the garrison unlocked, it will give an item for the garrison that let's you play the music on loop!

For the Faerie Ring, in Warlords of Draenor you could loot a music scroll after the event. Not sure if it's still active.
"Travel to Tirisfal Glades in Eastern Kingdoms to the forested area west of Deathknell (coordinates 17,67). Every 15 minutes or so, the Fey-Drunk Darter event will play out and a Faerie Dragon Nest containing the music roll will appear in the middle of the mushroom circle."

I took my BE and my human WLs to Trisfal Glades' circle. If you arrive at the peak time, you can actually get a music box disc for your garrison music box. It's my favorite mushrooms of the entire game. The Ardenweald ones are gorgeous though and are a close second. I love the scenary in Ardenweald in general though and its screen captures are often my desktop background.

Drustvar was such an cool place, lot of creepy cultist things and those mushrooms were tite. and didnt even know there was chill mushroom god in ShadowBlands! Learned something new today

No one went to ghostlands? Basicially everyobe funnelled into the ghostlands from the day tbc launched til the day cata dropped, the xp and loot was way above the curve that the classic zones were built with.
