- & we're back in Iceland. It's still winter. One of the best parts about exploring Iceland in the winter is the limited sunlight. It might sound strange but the 6 hour window only allows for the sun to get so high in the sky creating a long arch along the horizon and some awesome slow burn light. Make sense? It also allows for long dark nights and great opportunities to see the Northern Lights. This video is more like a travel vlog style taking you with us on a journey photographing Iceland in the winter.

That drone footage after the bit about the filter was class!! just love waves under a drone! Stunning shots with the snow sand! The one at 13:02 was class with the reeds!

Great stuff again! It was very different from when we ran into you guys out there (Vestrahorn) 2 years ago for sure. We were there last week, no wind, no footprints, but the tops of the mountains stayed hidden. You guys had pretty much a perfect day there.

Awesome pictures and videos. I just left Iceland a couple of weeks ago and was only able to get a little drone footage due to the high winds, kudos you were able to get some great drone footage.

Brilliant Vlog Greg, nice to see you got a day when the weather wasn’t brutal. Gorgeous images and I can’t wait to get back in Summer 2023, last time it was low cloud and we couldn’t see the tops of Vestrahorn or indeed any mountains along the coastline which was slightly disappointing as they are awe inspiring with or without good light. Drone footage was amazing 👌👍

Great vlog! I have watched a lot on Iceland (and hope to go there this year), but rarely see weather as good as you had it. Super sweet! I have just jumped from the GH5 to Sony FX3 (basically an A7siii made for video). Seems to be a lot of autofocus options. Which ones are you choosing for doing your vlogs? Stay safe in this crazy world!
