Gern geschehen! You will have an amazing time. It is such a wonderful destination 🙌🎉. Let us know how it was. And if you have any questions along the way, let us know on instagram @dennis.travel. Wir sprechen auch Deutsch 😊
For a good Burger in Reykjavik I can highly recommend the Vitabar! It’s located in a little street behind the Hallgrimskirkja. The food is very good and not as expensive as in other restaurants in the city. It’s more like a little pub where the locals go.
That was a wonderful survey of what to eat in Iceland! My favorite was the whole experience at Fridheimar Tomato Restaurant. The soup looked luscious and eating inside the greenhouse was unique! I also loved the vegan dim sum. And for sweets, the mondlukaka really appealed! Of course, the licorice crème brûlée also looked amazing--how generous of the chef to give you a cookbook! We mostly saw your food, Dennis, but I'm glad there always seemed to be vegetarian/vegan choices for Tim. Lots of love to you both. 💖💖
The Fridheimar Greenhouse was our favorite as well. Such a unique place with pure flavors. We decided to devide some videos. I did the food one. Tim did the accommodations video (that I still need to edit ☺️😉). But Tim indeed had some amazing vegetarian dishes 🥰🥰
Yeah the free cookbook was so generous 🙌. We were very surprised about it. The food in that restaurant was really great and the staff so friendly. They were so happy that we were so crazy for their crème brulee with Licorice. That’s why they decided to give us the book 😊🎉
I'd really enjoy seeing you two do a review of the foods available in Tehran or Jeddah. Especially any rooftop restaurants they may have in those cities.
Thanks so much 🙌. Iceland is definitely a dream destination. It will blow you away in so many amazing ways. If you ever have any questions on your trip, feel free to contact us. ☀️
I just stumbled on your guys videos.....very enjoyable. I am making my 2nd solo trip to Iceland this mid September. I'm going up the west coast to Lake Mytvan. I love good food! It is usually a highlife of my travels! You'll have to do a video of western & Northern Iceland sometime.....ciao, Rosalie
Our full circle road trip includes the North (not much west though haha). Near lake Mytvan we had a great meal at the farmhouse include in this video. Such a cool restaurant and menu 🙌. Have a great trip. We would definitely want to go back one day as well. Iceland is amazing ☺️
We were in Iceland in May this year and absolutely loved it! Blueberry Skyr was my favourite! We did not enjoy the Dragon Dim Sum at all, and do not recommend it. We loved the hotdogs, but you completely missed the best place of all, the Seabaron! They are famous for their lobster soup, and once you have it you know why! It is amazing!! You also missed the Sandholt famous for its sourdough rye bread which we bought for making sandwiches, so good!
Thanks for adding these two places! We will definitely check them out next time ☺️. We heard about the lobster soup once we were back home. We were actually bummed out that we didn’t taste it☺️☺️
Hello Tim and Dennis! It is so fun to see all your food adventures in Iceland! We also have Skyr in the stores here, and it is so delicious. I think I would love the chocolate licorice candies, and especially the licorice crème brûlée! How kind of the chef to give you the cookbook so you can make it at home! 🤗❤️🤗❤️
Appelsín (and all of the other sodas made by that producer) is different from Fanta in the way that it uses actual sugar rather then high fructose corn syrup. Much fresher taste that way.
Hey Judy, welcome to our channel. Our videos always include budget food. We don’t go for the high end stuff. However till now we chose not to include prices since they are constantly subjected to change especially with the current inflation. But our viewers are always guaranteed to not have very expensive items in our videos. If we do splurge, we mention that as well 🙌. We hope you keep enjoying our videos in the future 🥰👋
Subbed right away. Love you guys! Fantastic video, cannot wait to get there and try things. We are basing our stay out of Reykjavik, may regret this, but are not afraid of long miles in the car. Next time we will rove stsy to stay
Thanks so much. Welcome to our channel! At least you booked a car. That is the best thing, so you can stop wherever you want! That is awesome. How long will you go?
@@stufr.travel we are there only for one week. But hope coffee and long days of sunlight/rainlight permit long days of exploring. This is our scouting trip for longer stays in the future. Or we will just stay longer, camp and chg flights lol
Thanks so much. You will have a great time on Iceland! If you want to drive the full circle ring road, we suggest you need ten days. You can do it in less but then it is rather fast. If you don’t have more than a week we suggest going up to Höffnand then back down and include Snaefellsness peninsula as well. That way you will see so much greatness and beauty already 🙌☀️
Hi, super nice video :) I am going there next week and I am super looking forward to all of the experience. But one question, do you please remember how much was the tomato soup in Friðheimar ? I am not able to find it anywhere,... Thanks!
I don’t exactly remember how much it was. But it was not overly priced. All food is on the expensive side in Iceland. This was fairly priced for that. And it was free refills and free (amazing) bread with it. And you got some nice sides for free too. So definitely worth it. We loved it sooooo much. And it tasted soooo amazing! You will love it. Make sure you keep in mind the opening hours. They close rather early 😉. Have the best time on Iceland, we are sure you will ☀️😎🎉
Probably not the best idea to watch this video in a timeframe during which I shouldn't eat anything ... but nonetheless very well done, everything looks tasty and I think especially the atmosphere in all of the location looked very relaxing, friendly and just inviting!
We went on April 26th and stayed for 10 days. It was perfect. We had great weather, one day with a tiny bit of rain, days with 17 degrees Celcius and two days with snow. So yeah, you can have it all haha.
@@stufr.travel thats awesome, i live in the south of Brazil, so the weather here its just like that, a little rain, 10 to 19 degrees, but in my city we dont have snow hahaha.
Depending on when you plan to visit Iceland you will probably see some snow! We do not advice july and august since there are so many tourists there and prices are very high. The rest of the year prices are so much better 🙌
@@stufr.travel thats a great advice, I bought the trip for 2025, but it's a travel package, so I can choose the date later on, I'm researching the best month option in terms of weather and prices, mainly because the currency in Brazil that is undervallued
I think the middle of May would be perfect. End May also. The Lupine flowers will bloom by then and the prices are still okay. And not too many tourist 🙌

Yeah we definitely need to go back and try more fish 🫣. We both are not super keen on fish. But we definitely should try more. Next time 🙌. And the pronounciation of Icelandic is quite hard. ☺️. We should take a course 😉

Icelandic isn't German; "Reykjavik" isn't pronounced "Reich-javik"!
Also, "Kleina" doesn't sound like German "klein." The vowel sound more like in "Klee."
Reykjavik is a great place to eat fish, but the fermented shark is NOT what I would recommend!! Better to go with salmon, cod, char, or trout.
