- All of us come short of our best from time to time and in one way or another. However, there is a mountain of love and a sea of mercy and forgiveness in the Father. Go to Him daily and seek His forgiveness. As we grow in knowledge of the Bible and of ourselves, God's grace allows us to resist habitual and occasional sin and grow in self-control.
I have committed alot of wrong in my life. Still hearing this song I cry like a baby. It shows how much Jesus forgives no matter what and his love is endless. I heard this song at the lowest point in my life and since then I have graduated from College and have a beautiful daughter and now I am a grandpa. Having faith and belief that God had his hand on me and guided me down that path there are no words. All I can say is Praise you Jesus, I give you all praise and glorify your name. Thank you 😊

Many years ago, I once heard this song performed by a men's prison group out of Connecticut. It was amazing. At the end, their chorus rang out loud and strong, and the last word "Holy" was tied together with the finishing chords of Richard Wagner's Pilgrim's Chorus from Tannhauser (it took me years to figure out why it sounded familiar). Now that I found this song, I want to find that arrangement.

One of our associate pastors preached a sermon yesterday titled pots--- stop.. Was so great im still thinking of all the things he said was powerful and had me overwelmed with sadness how sometimes i fail him and i know he forgives but like pastor said how many times before he turns back on us.

The main comment indicates that God's grace is enabling in it application. God's grace does NOT give us power. I believe most children of God miss comprehend God's grace as it's application is in response to our powerlessness to succeed. For to transgress in the least is to transgress in ALL! If grace throws the "works" switch, then it is not grace at all but an empowerment act.
