In the novel Clancy wrote all the training and prep work for missions took place at RAF Credenhill under SAS instructors
Team rainbow was never taught by SAS instructors yeah they were based at Hereford but they were split pretty evenly between CAG and 22 hitters

@@wordherb1128 Plus, it was John Clark who was leading the team as the original Six, not Alistair Stanley (who was Rainbow Five and Clark's XO) or Ding Chavez (who was one of the team leaders).
Would be nice if Ubi did a throwback event with the OG members (Peter, Mike, Sam, Freddy, Ding, Dieter, Eddie, Julio, Louis, and Homer) and John Clark as the event announcer.
The training was at Hereford base.
Greg Jones Yeah, some members of Rainbow were former SAS, but training was all lead by team leaders, Ding from the USA, and Covington from England.

I think he already tries to, but the COD level design and general play style makes realistic tactics impossible a lot of the time. You cant rely on friendly AI to kill enemies, you just have go in like rambo, then hide for 5 seconds after you get shot, then repeat
you should play SQUAD and a few other "realistic" fps LOVE YOUR CONTENT BTW

I think that this event had already ended sadly. The map itself was just Oregon but with bulletproof glass everywhere. Though you were able to play as whichever operator you wanted to. And the glass itself was somehow also explosion proof. The event was meant to hype up the Six Invitational from last month which was this massive event with a tournament between professional teams.
It's actually 2 map combos lol..

My biggest problem is they are using simunitions, but most of them have no eye pro.

Excalibur 4249 there’s no way any special forces operator would forgo eye protection in a tournament like this. It could ruin their whole career if they got blinded.

One thing that I loved about this trailer is the attention to detail... Especially with the fight between Caviera and Thatcher because Thatcher is the oldest operator in the game at the age of 58 and Caviera is obviously one of the younger ops. You can see that even though Thatcher has more experience, because Caviera has quite a few years on him she is easily able to out maneuver him. And on top of the fact you learn so much more about the lore of the game because Hibana and Pulse's relationship is confirmed, and you learn about the type of ammunition they are using in the "simulation" that is Rainbow Six Siege
This is my first video I’ve ever watched and I love your absolute and genuine love of the characters. I’ve never seen anyone care so much for in game operators, especially in something like siege but here you are.

A cool detail I’ve just noticed is that when Mira is putting her hand on Cav at the end, look at Pulse on the left. He has a red mark on his head where Hibana shot him with the non lethal round. Quite minor but really cool they added it. Great video man! 👍👍

The event for this map was road to S.I it was over the summer of 2018 if I remember correctly, the map although a one time thing has to be my favorite siege map of all time, it combined everything great about a couple of maps and introduced the concept of a map with bulletproof glass that covers parts of the map

Never noticed it, but the paint ball that hit can drew some blood, the detail is amazing.
It would be cool to see what you think of all the guns used in the game I don’t see many videos talking about the real life versions of the guns.
That was a fun map to play. I like how they did it. It was good.

My boi Thatcher may be a CQC specialist but i can see cav absolutely demolishing him with capoetta.
I agree with some of the unrealistic operators, Clash with the CCE Electric Shield, Iana on the moon with the Gemini Replicator and then I just can't believe an operator who literally just runs through walls is allowed in a highly trained military force....
Also, you could play this map in early January during the Road to S.I. 2020 event. It was a rework of old Hereford Base I think.

We did get to play on the map for like 7 weeks I think it only was available on weekends

We were able to play this map for 5 weeks off and on it was really fun
I know nobody else would, but I personally would love to see a content option where these chalk balls or whatever replace the blood in the game, multiplayer only, not training grounds. Only because I want it to feel like the operators are actually training together and not out to actually kill eachother, that and my nephew watches me play constantly and he's only 4

The "woman on the moon" is there because she's in some kind of NASA stuff of NL I think. At least she had something to do with NASA according to her biography.
that should have gone to the defenders. what was pulse gonna do with habana still in the room? he can't just leave her there while he defuses. Headshot hibana, take out sledge but sadly they didn't do that.
