Performing a valve adjustment on a Mack AI-400 engine trainer.
Exhaust Valve Lash: .024"
Intake Valve Lash: .016"
Rocker Arm Adjustment Nuts Set To 23ft-lbs (Normally 45ft-lbs)
Valve Cover Bolts Set To 8ft-lbs (Normally 16ft-lbs)
Tools Needed: 36mm Socket to rotate crank
5mm Allen Key to set adjustments
15mm Wrench/Crow's Foot for Adjustment Nuts
13mm Socket for valve cover bolts
Feeler Gauges
Torque Wrench
Inline 6 Engine Firing Order: 1-5-3-6-2-4

completely wrong, do not follow this video if you are adjusting mack valves.every cylinder needs to be done individually at TDC only one cylinder can be adjusted at a time according to flywheel mark. on an early e7 or e6 model valves must be adjust according to vibration damper marks.there are 3 marks 1&6 2&5 and 3&4. to know which 'cylinder is on tdc you must observe valve overlap on paired cylinder. if you dont know what that is you are not ready to do a valve job
