I don’t for the life of me understand why the cup series can’t just admit they messed up with the next gen and use the Xfinity car w/ more horsepower. The answer is right in front of them every time the Xfinity series runs.
@@codymoe4986 They could absolutely do that. I’m just concerned the issue goes beyond horsepower. And look… I know they’ll never use the Xfinity car for Cup.. obviously they’d never do that. Cup probably needs more horsepower + a tire that actually wears or 3 different tire compounds for each race. Knowing NASCAR though… they’ll go with adding some kind of DRS / Push to Pass. They also need to stop sharing so much information / live data between teams.

Jgr needs to figure out sponsorship and get Ryan truex a full-time ride in the Xfinity series. They can be the next brother of champions at least in Xfinity.
I'm watching this to see how SVG is going over there. But i don't understand why they call a caution so quickly when the driver could regain control and keep racing?? Also why do they call a caution when it spits a little bit of 🌧️ rain? Don't they know how to drive in the wet?
Nascar races in the wet on road courses, look up the 2020 Roval race for an example. Though the Xfinity race that weekend eventually got red-flagged because it was POURING with rain. But ovals are much more difficult to race in the wet because you're on the limit of grip for such a huge percentage of the lap. Watch the 2022 Coke Zero 400, where the entire field has a synchronized spin when they hit a wet section of track. A couple years ago Nascar introduced rain tires that are suitable for use at short ovals, but they'll only use them on damp tracks that are drying out, rather than when it's actively raining. This track is a 1-mile oval, so it's too big and too fast for the rain tires, but the Cup Series did run them at Richmond (0.75 mile) this year. As for the cautions, I will say the graphics are ahead of the actual cautions being called in these replays. But the biggest reason they throw cautions is simply because the lap is so short and the speeds are so big. At this track these cars are averaging about 160mph, for a 22 second lap. There are no local yellows, only full course cautions. If the drivers see a spinning car in front of them you want to incentivize them to slow down rather than making them worry about whether the risk of getting caught up in the wreck is worth losing their advantage to the field.
good old fox and their crappy camera crew.... and nascars trigger happy cautions changing the outcome of GWC again... i want the 15 to do good but man.... another wrecked race car...
So nobody but me saw the 7 drive over the commitment box when he decided not to pit when Custer did??? He should have been penalized for that and wasn't. Nascar doesn't owe him anything. That race getting out of hand was all on him.
so did we get a definitive replay to see if she caused the wreck or the other guy wrecked her?? Because i sure didn't see one here, so not going to pass judgement other than this run in the back strategy is utter b.s, hasn't worked all year, time for a change. Maybe the car isn't up to snuff, maybe the crew chief, maybe it is the driver but this package/ strategy isn't working.
funny how Nascar implemented the stage racing so fans wouldn't miss pit stops yet EVERY highlight video I watch doesn't show pit stops. Eliminate stage racing!
Ryan Truex sucks when you need to crash everyone to win. You wonder why he doesn’t have a full time ride. No talent what’s funny that why he hit the 2 car he even said.lmao……
There should be a limit on years in the Busch league. A career should not be made in the trucks or X series Move up or move on. If you are not talented enough to race cup......thank you for your time.
@mdwalidalamrohan4491 they do road courses in NASCAR several times a year. And when they do, it's better than F1 in every way. But even ovals are more exciting, because in just one lap there are more overtakes than in an entire F1 race. There can be more lead changes in one NASCAR race than in an entire F1 season. It is nearly impossible to predict who will win any given NASCAR race. In F1, the winner is Max Verstappen. The champion will be Max Verstappen. Again. What's the point of watching when you already know the outcome? Even Jeremy Clarkson knows F1 is a scam.
I think they need to fire a lot of camera operators after today
Replay angles and which cars to follow in accidents were shocking
No better angle for the car on fire?
I think you should go ask for a job!
The cameraman was late to every crash.
Yes, it looked almost intentionally bad!! 🙃
Here's the end of 5 wrecks... But we're not going to ever see how it started! 🤦
every week i find myself imagining how much simpler society would be if the cup series used the xfinity package
That would mean nascar would have to admit they messed up royally with the gen 7. Don’t hold your breath
