I like to keep phantom power as separate as possible, my favourite mic is a large diaphragm valve mic with it's own phantom power box, great leaving the phantom power off on the desk until I really need it.

Thanks. I used my Squier Jaguar Short Scale Bass on this one. Love playing it, the short scale helps, being a guitarist and a total hack on bass. 😀
