    1 Wind Farm -
The farm consists of 12 giant wind turbines, each at a height of 100 metres from the base to the tip of the blades. The turbines generate around 75 per cent of clean, green electricity for Albany.
    2 - Jimmy Newells Harbour -
Jimmy Newells Harbour is a beautiful natural harbour close to Torndirrup National Park. This small inlet provides a protected calm body of water which is ideal for swimming and paddling, as its namesake discovered when caught in a storm. It is also a wonderful spot to try out beach fishing.
Mother Nature has blessed this region with Torndirrup National Park on the doorstep.
    3 - Blow Holes -
You can tell if the blowholes are active on your visit by the noise they make, as it is quite impressive. On a day when the ocean swell is high, the Blowholes are more likely to be active.
The 1.6km return walk to this natural phenomenon begins at the western end of the parking area with signage to follow. Start exploring on the bitumen path for about 400m to the top of some steps. There are fine views of Peak Head to the south-east and Eclipse Island to the south-west. After the steps, the path swings to the right and then leads to an open granite area.
The Blowholes are crevasses in the granite stretching down to sea level far below. With each wave the 'holes' blow air and water up the channel and out the top creating a burst of spray and a loud droning whoosh! Watch the video below.
The rocks of this coastline were once connected to Antarctica when Australia was part of the supercontinent Gondawana. The rocks around the blowholes were created some 1800 million years ago. The blowholes are due to gradual erosion by the southern ocean
    4 - Albany City -
Nestled on the southwest coast, Albany has a blend of rich historical significance, wild and untamed beauty, plus a vibrant food and wine scene that's hard to match. Plus, it's a 4.5-hour drive from Perth, making it the perfect destination if you're itching for a road trip that has a little bit of everything.
Albany is well regarded for its natural beauty and preservation of heritage as the oldest permanently settled town in Western Australia, before Perth and Fremantle were settled. The city is alive with the arts, with a live music scene.
    5 - Brig Amity -
Walk up the gangplank and step back in time aboard Brig Amity to find out what life was like aboard a convict ship in 1826.
Discover the sights and sounds below deck that were encountered by those aboard as they headed for unknown lands, sharing space with the ship’s crew, 23 convicts, 21 soldiers and enough domestic animals, food crops and building materials to start the small, remote outpost.
6 and 7 - The Gap and Natural Bridge -
Lookouts at both The Gap and Natural Bridge provide outstanding views of the Southern Ocean and the coast from Bald Head to West Cape Howe. Visitors to The Gap can venture onto the accessible viewing platform 40m above the surging seas.
From the gentle and mesmerising heaving of calm seas, to the buffeting rush of wind and spray of winter storms the experience changes from day to day. A raised pathway leads from the parking and picnic area across the top of the exposed granite ramparts to reach the viewing platform at The Gap.
The accessible pathway and viewing area of the Natural Bridge provides a window to one of Australia’s most exposed coasts. The shape and form of the viewing structures are designed to complement the natural features of the area.
8 - Two Peoples Bay and Little Beach. -
Just 35km from Albany lies a scenic and important nature reserve. Two Peoples Bay and Little Beach are picture perfect spots for swimming, diving, canoeing and fishing. Their sweeping curves, sandy beaches, and clear waters feature in many award-winning photographs. Say cheese!
