That said, for most business owner's, establishing an LLC is much less expensive than hiring an attorney to manage the business trust. There are complications there involving IRS regulations, fiduciary requirements, and general maintenance. Trusts, on the other hand, are a popular option for passing on personal assets and cash from a business's profits. If that is something of interest, then a business owner would then contact an attorney that could analyze the cost and benefits of a trust vs LLC for their business.
