I just donated a lot of jeans and other items I don't wear anymore. I don't miss them. However, I would have been upset if someone took them from me before I made my mind up to donate them. I looked at each item before I bagged them. This helped me to forget about them.
She has to recoup her losses from sewing. After she takes out her losses, and her wages for her time and labor, there may be a small profit. Where is his claim to that? Is he the tax collector? He's one of those men that no woman can please. A big selfish Mamma's boy.
I make small quilts for Project Linus now. I quit making quilts for my children; because, they were never thankful for them. My daughter told me she had already given away the last quilt I sent to her (before she received it in the mail). It was a queen sized Double Wedding Ring quilt. If my children want more quilts, they are going to have to make them or buy them. The lady in your video has a right to say "NO". She (like I) doesn't have to try to buy their love and respect.
❤️ I would be very hurt too if someone gave away a beautiful big quilt like that before even receiving it. Like the comment I read said quilting is a labour of love.
I want to do more quilting for myself but I am resisting a bit due to the time commitment so if I quilted for others it’s gotta be appreciated. ☺️
