You have a driver's license in one state but you can drive nationwide. You register your vehicle in one state and can drive it nationwide. Why not the same thing when fishing? Makes perfect sense to me! : )
Where is there good fishing anymore in a NP...?...I'm in the west ,where parks are over-crowded and no plants for years...read the 50's & 60's had good fishin back in the day ... Anyway a National Forest all state fishing license would probably be priced at $1200 or more ...you and Jax rock Eric..!!
Oh, man! This video just filled my soul! I am loving the nature and water! Kind of want to jump through the screen and camp with you...Nice work capturing the camping ambiance.
The lady who warned you about checking Jax for ticks, in general, is quite right... BUT, she didn't mention to look for deer ticks and don't just check Jax, check yourself too. Deer ticks are much smaller (about the size of the head of a straight pin) than your regular dog tick and they carry Lyme Disease.
New Jersey is the Garden State, and it truly is beautiful (with the exception of some of the near-NYC areas). When I was attending graduate school, I moved to Summit, New Jersey and used the trains to commute into Manhattan. The Fall colors out there in NJ were always spectacular, especially in the nearby Watchung Reservation Trails.
Jax sure seems to enjoy his outside walks with you and nature.. That campfire looked so peaceful. You have really found a little piece of heaven right here on earth, You are so blessed. Until your next video .. Keep living the good life. and stay safe..
Eric, just wanted to say that I have been watching your videos for about 2 years down here in New Zealand. You have been one of my inspirations and I have built my own RV from a retired School Bus for my family and we move in in 3 weeks!! You also inspired me to start a UA-cam channel which I have filmed my build and will film our lives as we live and travel in the RV, and it's doing well so far. Maybe you'll get a chance to check it out :-) Thanks man.
Are you still out on the road? I would love to go into work tomorrow and say see yall! Just need income though, I'm a plumber and electrician so I could probably find something maybe at campgrounds. Hope to see you
l agree with you on the fishing license. Love seeing Jax. l have a rescue kitten and he's wonderful company for this old single gal. Great tips and info. Beautiful scenery. Nice work ;-)
Purple Rain? Hahahaa! Great stuff Eric. Now thats the kind of camping I seek...out in the woods with a few amenities and good cover. Love it. Hey, that is one kool cat!
Thanks for your NY videos. We are now planning a dash from La to NYC in our camper for March. Our oldest daughter has always wanted to visit there and I can't say no. I'm already making use of many of the apps that you've been recommending to accomplish all the prerequisite planning and logistics. Thank you Eric for all that you've been teaching me.
Hi. This is very interesting. It will help me when I travel. My Tioga has the same layout. I just finished making custom window blinds. I will put some video of my Tioga up soon.
You should be able to purchase a fishing license for any state online. Just google the state you are in, and "fishing license". Many offer a 1 day, 3 day, 1 week, or annual license. Some require you to print off the license and carry it on your person. Some allow you to keep a .pdf of the license on your smart phone. License fees go towards fisheries management/conservation and facilities for fishermen in each state, thus a national license is not practical.
Man Eric, although that would be fantastic to purchase one fishing license for every state in the union. Too many states are self-concerned, amongst other things. As always be safe out there man!
I always look forward to seeing your latest video Eric. Your technical input is consistently right on, very helpful and your videos are shot and edited so professionally. By comparison, the other RV'ers I watch are producing videos that look like something I'd make. :( Relax and spend more time in each place though! Keep up the good work, Eric.
hello there Eric and Jax. nice video. it is so pretty there in new Jersey. loved the aerial shots. if you come to Pennsylvania and you take Jax out walking on a trail be sure to check him good for ticks. they are bad right now. as always be safe, have fun and give Jax a scratch for me
Nice wind down from the busy last few days. I thought you would probably skip Philly due to weather but you have had the best of luck with the weather this year. What a nice campsite. thanks for a great video.
This is cool I just discovered your channel last night and turns out you camped literally 20 min up the road from me. Awesome channel man. Keep living the life!
Hey Eric. I posted a comment about a year ago that you should consider installing a battery isolator. The battery isolator will charge the starting battery first then the solar batteries. The isolator sells for between $50 to $150 depending on quality and features. One hour of driving will give you more juice for your solar batteries than a whole day of solar panels.
Eric, Note your TV is always drawing current to some level when in standby mode. You can save energy by disconnecting power to the TV. If your TV runs off one of the plug in power supplies which converts 115VAC to 12VDC, just unplug the power supply. Happy Trails Eric
Washington DC is going to be both hectic and amazing. I would love the Smithsonian. Can't wait to see it myself.. Great video. Good luck on your remote hunt...
Hey Eric...Welcome to NJ, You'll have to visit, " The Independent Republic of Northwestern New Jersey " next time you visit.....High Point State Park is beautiful , especially in Autumn....Also Stoke's State Forest.......You always have a spot to park at my Northwestern Compound....☺
Cute little t.v. we get used to stuff! I used to loose my remotes, etc. too. Then finally a light went on..I tape cords, remotes, etc. to the appliance I'm packing. Vola! Easy! Aren't you afraid you'll run into a bear or something?? Thanks for yet another great video, Eric! bye~
$40 per night seems very high. We are traveling from Alaska to Georgia and have come as far northeast as Maryland on this trip. We mixed up boondocking with staying at commercial RV parks. The most we have paid is $22.50, usually less. Get yourself Passport America. For $44 per year you can stay at 1900 different RV parks in North America for 50% off.
Hey Eric-Have you ever thought about trying one of the mini wind generators that they have for sailboats. This way at night or in the shade if there is a breeze you can put something back into your batteries....
Really pretty lake and park. I love areas like that. Nice campfire and footage. I might suggest that you put the info about the map in your description with the "stickers mailed" so it can be a permanent part of your videos, and you won't need to repeat it all the time. It was one of my questions too a long time ago, and then when I hear you mention it again I realize I had forgotten. Happy trails.
I threw that pressure regulator away years ago.LOL Little trick for more gray tank capacity overnight. Fill the gray tank, leave the cap on the sewer drain, open the gray valve, then open the black valve and let 20 gallons flush over to the black side. Then close black first, then close gray, that way when you unscrew the sewer cap you only get gray water dripped on. Also may want to start carrying a bag of wood pellets around they can turbo charge a fire. At $6 a bad they have more heat density than the pack of wood bought. I mix together about 3 packs of wood to one bag of pellets. Had flames over 4 feet high.
295 is a mess with construction. Take it off hours or use the NJ Turnpike and pay the tolls. Come south and use the Delaware Memorial Bridge to stay away from Philly. From there you can jump on 95 and head south into Maryland or take 13/1/9 south to the edge of the peninsula and take the bay bridge tunnel to Virginia. I highly recommend driving that bridge. It's a really cool sight and you'll still go through the eastern shore of Maryland. You could always go down 95 to D.C., then cut back east across the Bay Bridge in Annapolis to get back on the Peninsula and head south from there
Closing aerial shots are pretty spectacular. Would make awesome PC backgrounds, you should have a Pc background page. Share the life Eric. Hi Jax!!! Keep then coming.
Yay! Turkey Swamp! Love camping there. The pull-through sites are great and the surrounding sandy woods seems to go for miles in all directions. The main office, the amenities, the sites and the lake are all pretty spread out so it's great to bring a bike! We generally don't have black bear in this area but the first and only time I camped here we received a paper notice handed out to all campers that there is a black bear in the area. Didn't get much sleep that night in a tent lol.
Check to see if you can download a TV remote on your phone. I have taken all of the batteries out of my remotes. Run TV's, DVD's, VCR (used to feed to back room TV's), Amp's, and Receivers with my phone. Hope this helps !!
Hey Eric at the start of the video it looks like all that walking in NYC did you some good, You looked slimmer to me. Very nice peaceful camp ground. Enjoy!
Now that I think about it, it makes sense to have the filter right by the RV side. Otherwise, you filter water past the hose faucet, but then runs through 25 feet of water hose with stale water that pushes into your tank.
You say that you get less solar during the winter which is true. If you say that you drive some time 1-2 hours or about 30 miles a day. Then my ? is do you have a battery isolator hooked to the RV engine alternator. It would give one more alternate power source to charge the house batteries while on the road driving.
If you still close by allaire state park is amazing and very histroric park with small little historic building wood shops and an blacksmith shop that if you catch at the rigt time you can see someone at work hahah love the videos keep them up
I was about to say; My money is on "you get tired of looking at that small screen before winter is over.. UH... nevermind. ;) So you can't find the remote which means living in an RV is exactly the same as living in a HOME>. at least as far as losing remotes go! :)
My favorite Campground. Unfortunately we upgraded to a 40 foot 5th wheel and can't fit there anymore. This is 45 minutes from my home. Nice to see this in your vlog.
That's a neat park to stay in. I was thinking they'd all be closed now too. I love a campfire 🔥, I always cook something over the fire even if it's just wieners and s'mores 🙂. See you at your next stop Eric !
What some people do in winter is to use both solar and a marine type wind turbine - something you can set up when stationary or better still fix to your front bumper with a short pole and it will charge as you drive along :)
flying J usually has dump stations. Philly is a huge pain in a car, super narrow roads. But Pats cheese steak is the best in the world and the liberty Bell, independence hall is pretty cool also.
Thanks for taking us along Eric, good to see you and Jax. Have fun, and enjoy your travels.
You have a driver's license in one state but you can drive nationwide. You register your vehicle in one state and can drive it nationwide. Why not the same thing when fishing? Makes perfect sense to me! : )
Not to mention gun carry permits. Should be nationwide like marriage, driver's license, etc.
GREAT footage of the camp ground in New Jersey!!!! LOVE to see Jax out enjoying the outdoors!!!! :)
nice video, great campground. I agree a national fishing license should be part of a National Park pass.
Thank you for showing what NJ is really like!
What a beautiful camp ground. You did a great job putting together this video! I always love seeing Jax! Safe travels Eric!
Thanks for showing Jax!
Oh, man! This video just filled my soul! I am loving the nature and water! Kind of want to jump through the screen and camp with you...Nice work capturing the camping ambiance.
I hope one day....Nomadic's journeys lead to a happily ever after situation. :-D
me too!
Thease are the good old days with Eric and Jax 😊.
Debra Cloud-Leight good add on! Thanks!
Watch out for chiggers too. Not as bad as Lyme carrying deer ticks but still annoying as hell. You'll want to scratch your skin off.
There's always something so adorable about watching Jax walking on his leash. I loved when you said, he's a dog, stuck in a cat's body!
Too cute!!
New Jersey is the Garden State, and it truly is beautiful (with the exception of some of the near-NYC areas). When I was attending graduate school, I moved to Summit, New Jersey and used the trains to commute into Manhattan. The moment you are all alone in the woods and you hear a strange noise "Squirrels?...squirrels! lol
Great video. You and Jax stay safe out there.
Jax sure seems to enjoy his outside walks with you and nature.. That campfire looked so peaceful. You have really found a little piece of heaven right here on earth, You are so blessed. Until your next video .. Keep living the good life. and stay safe..
Nice to hear positive comments when talking about New Jersey, thanks Eric.
Nice job on your editing and music selection. Thanks for sharing.

Purple Rain? Hahahaa! Great stuff Eric. Now thats the kind of camping I seek...out in the woods with a few amenities and good cover. Love it. Hey, that is one kool cat!
It's nice to see you enjoying a campground again. It looks like Jax enjoys it too. This was a nice video. Take care.
I usually don't care for organ music, but this seemed very appropriate for this kind of "chill" video...very nicely done Eric 🍻
Looks like you were in Woodbridge Nj when you were driving around the accident. 10 mins from my house. Love the videos.
Thanks for your NY videos. We are now planning a dash from La to NYC in our camper for March. Our oldest daughter has always wanted to visit there and I can't say no. I agree that's a real same about the fishing license situation, looked a Great Lake to fish 🎣
Man Eric, although that would be fantastic to purchase one fishing license for every state in the union. Too many states are self-concerned, amongst other things. As always be safe out there man!
I stumbled on your videos the other day, and enjoyed them. Thank you for the entertainment.
Thanks for another great video.
That's a very nice and beautiful campground.
Happy Camping, for sure!
Loved that remote moment!!! So very real...

Jax has been putting on a lot of weight with this lifestyle
Nice! Jax loves NJ too!
You picked a perfect time to visit NJ! The weather is beautiful and I really hope you enjoy my state.
Great video Eric as always nice camping area, Jax had fun too, be safe Barb and Joe in Tennessee...
Nice wind down from the busy last few days. I thought you would probably skip Philly due to weather but you have had the best of luck with the weather this year. What a nice campsite. thanks for a great video.
I really enjoy your channel, even when your day is challenging.
Always interesting and fun to see your experiences - stay safe...great job
way to go Eric another spectacular video
The missing remote is in Canada, Morgan took your remote:-).
This is cool I just discovered your channel last night and turns out you camped literally 20 min up the road from me. Awesome channel man. Keep living the life!
Awesome travels Eric, thanks for sharing !
you looked so at peace. i would have been uneasy being the only one there. have fun - be safe - see you in d.c.

I think this is seriously one of the prettiest places you've been
Very good point about the fishing license
Went to this campground a few weeks ago. Only half hour from my house and never knew t was there. Thanks to you I do now.
Cute little t.v. we get used to stuff! I used to loose my remotes, etc. too. Then finally a light went on..I tape cords, remotes, etc. to the appliance I'm packing. Vola! Easy! Aren't you afraid you'll run into a bear or something?? Thanks for yet another great video, Eric! bye~

Great idea on the 12 volt tvs got to remember that. thats a great camp site! I can't wait to get my rv!!

Love the idea of a country wide fishing license 👍
Thank you Eric, Hi Jax!!!

I have similar memory foam on my mattress and it has made a world of difference. My lower back no longer aches, really good.
LOVING THE MUSIC! Purple rain Purple rain.....

Next year you should visit southern California for the winter Eric. It is always sunny.
That's funny I live pretty close to that campground. I might actually take the kids for an overnighter some weekend thanks for sharing👍
Check to see if you can download a TV remote on your phone.
I have taken all of the batteries out of my remotes.

Just came across your channel. Excited to follow you on your journey. Hi from Nebraska.

welcome to jersey! you can find plenty of cheep/free camping in the pines and verry quiet. safe travels.
especially liked the drone scenes... :D
Ooooo, I bet it gets very dark and spooky out there at night, I don't see how you do it, good vid E, Thanks.
I live right by turkey swamp so cool to see you so close in beautiful New Jersey haha
If you still close by allaire state park is amazing and very histroric park with small little historic building wood shops and an blacksmith shop that if you catch at the rigt time you can see someone at work hahah love the videos keep them up
Sean Jordan was just there; it's closer to the beach too! but traffic noise at night if camping is bad , otherwise a cool place
I was about to say;

Great video per usual...and I wondered about the map as well...thanks!!
Yeah, a national fishing/hunting license would be nice.
Just discovered your channel. Great video, great shots of your campsite after dark. Keep up the great videos!
Thanks!
Awesome views and the music mix was awesome!
Powered campsites!!
I've never seen that here in south Australia. Aside from actual camping grounds with trailers, cabins etc. That's amazing.
its not the jersey devil , its the jersey state police
That's a neat park to stay in. I was thinking they'd all be closed now too. I love a campfire 🔥, I always cook something over the fire even if it's just wieners and s'mores 🙂. See you at your next stop Eric !

scary to drink New Jersey water!
I'd get out of there ASAP, NJ isn't a friendly place.
Good Luck!
flying J usually has dump stations.
