    Hallo,
    Thanks for the video.
    Am doing a lift shaft in very limited space due to the existing structures.
    The maximum internal diamension i can achieve is 1800mm by 1400mm.
    The door opening is on 1400mm side. What is the minimum door size for the lift shaft?
    Thank

      You can ask your lift suppliers about having a single opening door, and request a minimum of 0.9 meters. Check if the supplier can meet this requirement.
      Also make sure your design comply with local minimum requirements. Otherwise you may not get approval from the local lift inspector.

    Can we use brick wall instead of shear wlal

    • @MadAboutConstruction
      @MadAboutConstruction  Рік тому

      No. The structure driving the lift can bit be mounted on brick or any other masonry wall. You can create a steel structure frame.

    Thank you for the video it is very informative. I wish to ask about how the control room is connected to the actual lift where the people use. If we have 4 lifts, does it means that each lift has its own control room or it is just one which is connected to all?

    • @MadAboutConstruction
      @MadAboutConstruction  2 роки тому

      You can connect all lift with one control room. This is part of BMS (Building management system). All lifts can be Controlled, track and establish to communicate from one control room. For more information you can contact me on my WhatsApp, you can find the WhatsApp number from my article on this topic. The link of the article is given in the top comment of this video.

      @@MadAboutConstruction Thank you so much. So how do you connect all of them in order to communicate. Does it means that there are some cables running from control room to all lifts or how is it automated until it is such an amazing automated machine.

      @@mahnu4091 Technology keeps changing. This is new era, If I say something today, you will see something better tomorrow in same technology. Normally we connected those with cable. We connected each lift separately to the control room.
