Mark "ice flow master" Lettieri does it again. Drumming and bass are off the chart!!
5:12 sneaking in that whole tone lick!
twang twong
you mean: twangangang twooooong
Hi bro
I bet that bass player is having a BLAST
gotta check out his other group! He's a nuts composer as well.
@@Wilsnap Funky Knuckles
His stank face is legit!
he probably just had to dookie a bit
Sounds so familiar... probably just because I’ve been listening to the record all day?! Killer tune and great playing!
When the drummer smiles, you KNOW things are going well! 😎
Feeling it all over again. Your music flows through me like endorphins. Thanks Mark!
anybody else notice that the focus constantly shifting between Mark's solid lead tone and the rest of the band's input feels like an argument between two stubborn people...? and maybe? that's why? it's called... Blockheads?
Where you click Like before the first note...
.. And come down here to say something to that effect before the intro is over because daaaaaamn
Cause you just know that it's gonna be good..
5:10 -pure madness ensues. One of the craziest lines ive ever heard!! Love you, Mark! This is sooo sick!!!
Such unique phrasing every listen I hear something new the PRS sounds killer that nice sweet tone and the connection between drums and bass tight yet groovy and loose Bravo 🎼👾🎼
Thanks for the new album. Great work!
Love that line at 2:00
Beautiful! Great complex tone on this one. I'd love to see the signal chain. Feels like an overdrive mixed with an octave fuzz? Killer. Love the new stuff. Keep 'em coming.
Keith
Mark's rippin' it on the outro!
AMAZING!!! This is just the start of me being more reserved, but staying out of the pockets.Playing is gonna get better thanks to you and those cats mark ,keeping me smiling.
Can imagine Mike Patton on voc. Perfect fit
/ Mind blown - you got me with that observation - so good
@@Andrew_M_Ward have they emailed Mike? 😁 cheers for reminding me of this insanly awesome track
The bass player is having way too much fun! I say that out of pure jealousy.
Love the tune! Very cool to see Mark playing a PRS.
Somebody mentioned Zep below ... I'm feeling Jeff Beck myself.
Absolutely!
Joe Satch
Ever Great Mark!🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🇮🇹
Hey Mark….I just stumbled upon your You Tubing videos…..you guys absolutely kill it….Blockheads has such a deep pocketed groove..luv it…..Wes is so fun to watch, he’s one with his axe, like he’s takin her out for a night of dancing’. JT is sooooo smoothe, it’s so cool, his fills and riffs are clean and sterile, tasty, oh so good…..he doesn’t overplay, deep pockets are sweet, he just pumps out the glue to hold it all together and make it all sound good, he’s one of the few drummers that plays the drums like a tuned instrument that is the foundation of a great band, adds his part equally….nice stuff guys…..keep it crankin,…..thx for great music!
Hey y'all, I really loved hearing this! Awesome work!
Killer groove!
This is great. The rhythms (not so much the leads) remind me of Vernon Reid's oft overlooked first solo album, Mistaken Identity.
Ferocious, raw, beautiful. MAGISTERIAL. THE ML FACTOR ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bravissimo😍😘❤️❤️❤️Mark
That was wild!... Excellent man!
That riff is killer! Love it
Cheers y'all, absolutely smoking. :)
Mark + PRS = LOVE
Love to watch this groove
You're a bloody monster Mark!
THIS IS SO GROOVYYYYYY
This song is so sick! It's been stuck in my head since the first listen
Groove for DAYSSS.....

Cool riff, very good guitar tone and great players!
Great Gig.
The perfect bass player incarnation
Yessir!

wow.. What a great prs sound..
AMAZING ... NO OTHER WORDS
JT is SOLID!
Thanks man...
What a fantastic sound~USA
Amazing!
So inspirational thanks Mark ❤️
Some say Zeppelin, to me the main riff sounds Rage against the machine. The leads are great of course!
TREMENDO!!! 👏👏👏
Totally cool,everyone kickin ass,jam on!,
KILLER!
Killin it!!
Black PRS is pure class
I think its perfekt enough without a voice. Have been last week in a club concert in Berlin. We do not have missed anything.
Mark on the PRS!
That Shine on your crazy Diamond lick 🥰🥰
So clean
Satisfying.
I really liked it Dick, it has an awesome beat and it's fun to dance to !!😂
*jamming intensifies*
AMAZING !!! love it :-)
Not trying to compare (it’s incomparable) but I was missing “something like this” (whatever that means) since Jing Chi last album :) this is great stuff!
NOICE!!!
Awesome!!
How do you give this 10 Stars! Monster tune!

Alquimia perfecta inteligencia talento igual excelente música Castelar Argentina
PRS - They get everyone eventually... :) Great track Mark...
Dios! Rolololón!
Some below have said a Zep or J Beck vibe, I get Porcupine Tree - either way, great stuff here!
The nature of things is.... complicated :)
I feel like harvesting Tiberium now.
I don't know what that is. But go get you some, bro.
@@mjlettieri it's from a game called "Command and Conquer" unless I'm much mistaken, and this does sound a bit like the music from that game
the strangeness makes me think of satch and cross with a grunge band amazing he can create real fusion rock should collab with frank gamble and richie kotzen or greg howe it be crazy
Am I detecting some Zeppelin influence on this one?
1:47 ella uso mi cabezaaa
Any chance of putting it on google music?
Hey Mark - was that opening lick inspired by Gang of Four (Ether)? *Loving* this album!!
Thanks! Haven't heard that song, actually.
sophisticated stonner stuff haha
This is actually really good. When UA-cam recommends a piece of music for me it's usually way off. I think I got this because of some of the players, lessons I've been watching. Guitar, bass and drums. I think I'm just getting old, and I've always been a snob. when I see someone playing a PRS it's an instant turn off. Maybe that's because I'm from Southern Maryland and the company is a point of pride for many. I've also known so many people who have worked for them over the decades. Or that the bass has too many strings :) This is so good though. Solid playing with zero wankery. Good composition. Reminds me of something right out of 1970s library music. If there was a track that had the tags: prog influenced, TV show soundtrack. It's like someone asked Fripp and Manzenera to do the theme to The Rockford Files, but he had a late 90s version of Crimson with him. I've listened to it 4 times in a row. Not one misstep in this. It's kind of perfect. Must explore more from this guy and this killer band.
"when I see someone playing a PRS it's an instant turn off"
Seriously? That is one of the most absurd things I've been exposed to in a long time. And we're in the age of that absurd fat bastard Trump.
MisterNiles prs makes good stuff. It just so happens that a lot of people that own them are old dudes who can’t play them. They sound sick in the right hands.
@@jankafka7330 I agree. It's fucking ridiculous. Completely absurd. I acknowledge that. I'm sure you have some silly biases too. Like I said. I live in Southern Md. I've been hearing the hype for so long, it drives me nuts. I personally think the guitars are okay, but I'd go for an old Yamaha (SG) or Ibanez professional if I wanted a Gibson-esqu guitar. If I cared about the way a guitar looked and wanted pretty wood.
Try living in an area where people who worked for PRS at some point are all whispered about in hushed tones, even if they just sanded their arms off to get a PRS at cost. You might get annoyed and form a bias.
Beck, Zappa & Lettieri
Drummer is getting him some as well...Nice Mark, i heard what you did there!
Ha! Of course he is. This ain't no "backing track" rhythm section :)
@@mjlettieri Been appreciating your fine work recently....Good to hear a Dfw player bringing the heat on the regular...Tight wires Mr. L.
Well You know, I try to get it where & when I can! Wow that doesn't sound right when you read that! LOL
@@JTonthedrums bahahaha!
@@rodiebobwilliams1330 Thanks for checking out the tunes....
This tune makes me think of Paul Gilbert
Great song. Did you guys record playing all at the same time or did you each track your part individually? I never see more than one person playing in the shot at a time. Lots of good guitar ideas in this. Thanks.
Thanks! The drums, bass, and some rhythm guitars (there are a few stacks) were recorded together. Melodies, solos, extra rhythm tracks, and synths were overdubbed. We shot with just two cameras to keep the shots tight on purpose. But everything that's filmed is a live take, no miming.
@@mjlettieri and that's when the magic happens. This is missing in a lot of current formats of music. Thanks Mark, for helping keep Jams alive and inspiring as you do what you love. I feel music is making a comeback, and you and a few others are carrying the flag. We appreciate what you do.
I have a Mesa TC50, can I get something similar to this sound, and if yes how?!
holy fuck!! that's great!!
This must be the movie theme song for the new James Bond?
Tell me guitare model please !
Monster players... alls I gotta say is if I see "Mark Lettieri" pop up in the youtube feed it is an instant click.
Ian Drury would approve if there were snappy lyrics and some funk to it.

What is this like metal-jazz-Rock-funk?
@@charlesjackson4003 I guess it’s just…Lettieri ;)
@@mjlettieri whatever its is its awesome.
Everything is gold that Mark touches. As a side note, does that PRS have the lowest action ever? It looks like the strings are touching the frets.
Thankya. It's pretty dang low :)
Unless he touches poo...probably not turning to gold.
