I'm now obsessed with male versions of Disney songs! This sounds so beautiful. Now I really want to watch Disney movies with a reversed gender. Disney, please make that happen.
Especially when the song explains that "we are all connected to each other in a circle, in a hoop, that never ends" 💞 this has always been my favorite Disney song because of how much meaning it has to it along with sounding so unforgettably beautiful. It touches up on topics like racism, stereotyping, what unity really is, the true value of nature, respecting nature because we shouldn't claim land...land is free for everyone...just dissecting each line of this song hold so much meaning, more than what I mentioned because everyone interprets it in several other ways. There truly are aot of impressive Disney songs, but in my opinion, this one will always be the top most meaningful.
@Syd M Same here. I just wish that people would recognize that race and background have nothing to do with who you are and that everyone would look past their differences and get along
I also love the fact that the Artist for the drawing made them look younger. The Real Life Pocahontas was only like 13 years old when John Smith and the others first landed. Smith was like 40 + years old as well.
Imagine, Male Pocahontas falling in love with one of the white mens daughters and they kiss in the movie and her fiancee see's her and tries to kill Male Pocahontas and one of the Natives shoot an arrow at her fiancee and he dies. Then the villagers see Male Pocahontas take him away and they did the scene 'Savages' and the daughter does that thing hovering over him and confesses her love to her father, and Male Pocahontas' mother doesn't approve and tries to shoot the daughter but Male Pocahontas steps in and takes the shot. Then when the daughter has to leave, She sings 'Colors of The Wind' and Male Pocahontas (still a bit weak) runs to catch the boat and ends up on the end of the mountain and sings with her and does the goodbye gesture to her.
Abby Zhou But it's different, girl John Smith didn't like Male Pocahontas at first nut then after he told her about his culture she liked him. I guess Tarzan and Jane are like it but this gender-bend would be really beautiful. Just watch the regular movie :)
If Pocahontas was male IRL. I’m pretty sure that Disney would’ve kept a similar age to him and the 1995 flop more of a father-son bond between John Smith and Pocahontas, Kocoum be dammed (and the sequel doesn’t exist) John Smith kinda being the father figure to Pocahontas that Chief Powhatan never was (ya know, give Chief Powhatan some parallels with Ratcliffe). And John Smith getting something or another relating to family about of spending time with Pocahontas. Actually that sounds like and alright movie, to be honest I’m using the person’s irl name and not a masculine version of it as “Pocahontas” is more of a epithet/nickname than a proper name and thus can be considered a unisex name
Can't describe how much I love this; I mean, man, I thought I loved the original! Thank you so much! I would love to know exactly how you did this. Thanks so so much.
This is one my favorite song from Pocahontas. This is one one of my favorite Disney movies. This song Color of the Wind is one the song I love to sing. 😊
You think I'm an ignorant savage And you've been so many places I guess it must be so But still I cannot see If the savage one is me How can there be so much that you don't know You don't know You think you own whatever land you land on The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim But I know every rock and tree and creature Has a life, has a spirit, has a name You think the only people who are people Are the people who look and think like you But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain Can you paint with all the colors of the wind Can you paint with all the colors of the wind Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth Come roll in all the riches all around you And for once, never wonder what they're worth The rainstorm and the river are my brothers The heron and the otter are my friends And we are all connected to each other In a circle, in a hoop that never ends How high does the sycamore grow? If you cut it down, then you'll never know And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon For whether we are white or copper skinned We need to sing with all the voices of the mountain We need to paint with all the colors of the wind You can own the Earth and still All you'll own is Earth until You can paint with all the colors of the wind
Haha I've been listening to all these male versions the past few days over and over, and I just love them so much! So I thought to myself, I should help make some more! Then I remembered I'm a girl.... XD
and now i know what male judy kuhn sounds like! y'know, the girl whose singing became pocahontas', original cosette on broadway... either way, LOVE IT!
See what I figure is, if Disney is going mess with the way fairytales are already written. I think they should make tons of prince movies. I can see tons of stories that would be just as interesting being told with men. Someone should tell Disney that boys can be roll models in some aspects as well. I mean, name one "Prince" That actually had the same kind of adventures and learning and understanding as Disney princesses. There is none. I say, keep doing these male edits and maybe one day there will be a Disney prince movie. Haha!
No one: Not a single soul: Not one damn soul: Literally no one: Not even God himself: Me after watching this video: **aggressively goes to Pinterest and looks up “male versions of Disney princesses” and makes a new board for it**

Listening to the song I almost thought that the male version was gonna sing "Have you ever held the entrails of an English man," from After Ever After.
I love these! If there is anyway to make an animated video for these with the genderbending(not sure if that's a word, but it is now) in it would fantasitic!
I'm now obsessed with male versions of Disney songs! This sounds so beautiful. Now I really want to watch Disney movies with a reversed gender. Disney, please make that happen.

I love how this song is basically telling people how racism and stereotyping is stupid and we should all just get along. :3

Not to mention that the movie alone is quite realistic.
@Syd M
Same here. I just wish that people would recognize that race and background have nothing to do with who you are and that everyone would look past their differences and get along
Kind of hard to tell that to the real world and everyone in it. Sure, some people get it, yet others are hard to convince.
Damn I am in love with male Pocahontas and Meg now
Omg me to😂
I feel you.
😃😃😃😃SAME💖💖😃😃😃😃
just came from male Meg's I won't say I'm in love and I agree
I also love the fact that the Artist for the drawing made them look younger. The Real Life Pocahontas was only like 13 years old when John Smith and the others first landed. Smith was like 40 + years old as well.
Ok Disney, we need a movie princess movie from a male perspective now! Basically a Disney prince movie lol
Emma Johnson aladdin and hercules
@@birdeethe_rat2010 Hercules is a prince since Zeus is a king.
Aladin was turned into a prince because of his wish and he married a princess.
nightmare sauce so? Most of the princesses become princesses after marrying a prince soooo
@@birdeethe_rat2010 Aladdin is considered a Disney Prince. He married a princess, so he is a prince.
How is no one talking abt Treasure Planet or Atlantis?
Holy crap! This is magnificent!
Thank you! : D
Every time the tune drops at "Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon" I experience instant transcendence

Abby Zhou But it's different, girl John Smith didn't like Male Pocahontas at first nut then after he told her about his culture she liked him. I guess Tarzan and Jane are like it but this gender-bend would be really beautiful. Just watch the regular movie :)
Like the one disney song that doesn't make me laugh when it's turned into the male version because there is no words like "girl" in it.

+Neko Night It's time for a gay Disney prince.
LittleMonsterMan93 Yes!!
And there's nothing wrong with that !!!
the best part about that, is that many native American tribes actually viewed homosexuals as closer to gods :D
+Carol Moyer OML, that's beautiful!! :D
I have never loved this song more! And this is one of my favorite Disney songs!
This is one my favorite song from Pocahontas. This is one one of my favorite Disney movies. This song Color of the Wind is one the song I love to sing. 😊
