GT3 RS is an amazing piece of German engineering. The 720 although very fast is a very poorly built car. The 720s is unreliable and will be a huge headache. I just traded mine for a new GT3 RS and much prefer their overall car vs the Mclaren.
I heard that if you pull both paddles it whacks it in neutral so you can rev it and upset pedestrians... rah.

Nice video my squirrel. Adding PDK to the GT3 RS really made it much easier to use but the 650S has a better ride and also has front & rear parking sensors

I spent 3 full days in an RS in the most aggressive modes, on deserted backroads around the desert in Southern California, pretty much 3 straight days of wide open throttle and hard driving. Not once did I even think about the comfort level of the seats. They're really quite good. I've never heard of anyone having any problems.
Thanks for being real. I don't think in any life I will afford a car like that but nice to watch someone using and reviewing their cars.

Nice vid! I just got a GT3RS in purple and Im just waiting for some nice fall weather to really break the beast in. I find it very nice to drive around town also. The US spec cars have glass all around so I think they are a bit quieter. I almost pulled the trigger on a Lava Orange but cops tend to group that in the Arrest me Red category. My biggest issue and its not that big of a deal is getting in and out of the seats. They are great while your planted in them though. Beautiful car!! Take care of her! Cheers!

997 is still the holy grail of 911 and RS. Tricky Clutch, manual only
for the RS, stiff ride, you don't see fanboys in 997 RS, this is like
someone driving a drift spec S15 but having no idea how to drift.

Not whining about parking sensors: the rear vs front wheels are rediculously staggered, very easy to curb the rears in 911s

I just drove a 991 GT3 RS last week 3500km round europe. For me it feels great everywhere! No problem to drive it anywhere. But i sure needed that lifting system for the front. It is low :)
Practically is driving and consuming $10 worth of fuel to purchase a $5 gallon of milk at your local convenience store.

Easy to add a backup camera that interfaces directly into the PCM using a product called NavTV.

although it is legally required to display a front number plate on your vehicle in the uk. but that does exempt supercars? i know some supercars legit dont have a place to display it but cars like DMOs GLE doesn't have one so i was wondering do police even give a shit?

Any manual car is a waste of space around town! In this case far too powerful to enjoy it to its full capacity without the risk of topping somebody's kiddy. Nothing but staying in 3rd for the most part imho!

Manual would be nightmare...And parking would be a nightmare and very nerve racking...Because other drivers and the lack of their driving/parking skills.. nuf said. Porsche 911's have always been built for everyday use.
Does the RS have a "bumpy road" mode similar to Ferraris or is it always "as is"? No magnetic shocks or the like which adapt to conditions?

Why does one buy a GT3? Because (in 2018) it's the ONLY naturally aspirated 911 available. The RS is a cash brab by Porsche. It's over-engineered. Most owners aren't experienced track drivers/competitors. Usually 60+ years old (if they made their own money to afford one and the GT3 wasn't bought by mom/dad).. The base GT3 is all one needs for street. What Porsche should do is put out a naturally aspirated version of the new 911 Carrera T. :) Most 911's spend their time in stoplight to stoplight driving. In big cities. Lots of traffic...etc.

Road noise not much sound deadening that is part of the car should have camera's and sensors though why not a person does have to drive it . Not much space for luggage that also is part of what this car is
