I am actually from the fictional country of Finland. Just to clarify
Fake News
Perkele piss on the tv in my summer car
@emonea I didn’t serve but I have an Onkel who served in The US army for 28 years as an air defense officer
A little greeting from Denmark Nice to see a Finnish UA-camr. Finland is a beautiful country, with a wonderful population ☺️
Really good video you made.
Thank you for your support!
knowing she actually served in the finnish military makes this video 10x funnier
I started to join army but I never Finnish..
Love from Queensland, Australia. enjoying you and North Room's videos.
1:01:29 That's a 95 TP for sure, the stock gives it away. Fantastic guns. There was a folding stock version of the 62 as well, but the stock wasn't the Galil-type design you have on the 95.
I spent 6 years in the US Army, the underwear story that the Finnish army reuses them is so crazy to me we had to buy our own when we got there and they were new and unused same with socks but they were all the same color brand and everything but nonetheless they were new
Everyone had to take the used once, but most brought their own from home (did not have to be the same army once). It is still shocking to me how many used the old once.
@@emonea it just seems so insane to me tho. But we didn’t lock up our rifles at night before we slept we hung them on the end of the bunk bed posts and after we had our showers our towels and wash clothes also hung on the end of the bunks to dry so they didn’t smell oh also we didn’t take any sheets off our bunks in the summer we slept on top of the sheets and straighten them up at 4 am when we woke up in the winter months we slept under the sheets and had to make the beds when we woke up and when we ate dinner we usually had around 5 minutes sometimes more sometimes less to eat and be in formation
@@phychotic_turtle7987 In the Finnish army you're not allowed to bring your rifle into a barracks room or bathroom - you'd have to leave them on the floor in the hallway with one person looking after them (or you could sometimes leave it with the unit's duty desk if they agreed). You'd get reamed out for bringing a rifle into the barracks room/toilet, or for leaving it unattended lol
@@angrykidplays1587 yeah I understand that I was just pointing out the differences between the US Army n the Finnish Army.
Love you vids keep it up
Your subs keep climbing here on UA-cam. I watch a good bit of video game streamers but never downloaded twitch . But because I want tune in live I now download it. So now I have twitch 😂👏🏻💯
Welcome to the Twitch family!
32:52 It isn't the Army, but I served four years in the US Navy!
0:22 lmao
I had a chance to join the Russian army back in 00s, well, not like they gave me a choice, but they decided I'm unfit for it because of poor health, but can still be conscripted in times of war, don't remember how that category is called officially. Thankfully, since then my health got even worse, I am on disability now, and I couldn't be happier.
"Folding the pile" was actually fun and satisfying. Atleast for me.
No way! :D
I have heard stories from my friend who was in the danish army. They had to fold their shirts perfect, like the bedsheets in the game here. And if one of them was folded 1 milimeter from perfect, all their shirts was pulled to the floor and they could start over. That confirms I wouldn't have made it in the army. That alone would be enough for me to throw a tantrum, and get punished even more xD. The human isn't perfect. The army needs to understand that aha.
Personally I really enjoyed the daily cleaning. It (usually lol) meant that the day was done and afterwards you'd have some free time. It was pretty chill
@@bk_the_raccoon3650 I made my pile quickly because I was good at it and then I went to help others who didn't find it easy. If it was wrong, they either gave us new tries with time limit or sometimes "from the top"
Army of Czech Republic(active reserve)....5 years in tank battalion.
Love your videos 🙏
Even more content, yay!
Hi from the fictional country of Norway
Hello!
I'm really enjoying watching the VOD of this. I'm from the US, haven't served. There is no mandated service here, but i sort of wish there was in some ways? In your late teens you are usually expected to go to college, but rarely does anyone know what they are doing or know the debt that comes with it. I feel like serving for your country you would learn how to take responsibility for your actions and such. Hearing your stories from Finland are really interesting and not something anyone over here hears everyday. I also enjoy your My Summer Car series a lot. I appreciate the Suomen kieli/cultural translations to English especially. Keep up the good content!
Cant wait for part 2!
It is out!
She definitely served in psyop😁
sounds like an horror to wear underware after someone else
I was a truck driver in the Austrian army for 6 months.
Austrian army conscription is straight up slavery for men. I feel pity for you my friend
1:06:37 she became so angy even her nose has changed the color to red ahaha
I was in the US Army 3 years 1979-1982 Stationed in Erlangen, Germany
When i was in the army we kept weapons in those very same cages, i have some video on my phone where corporals checked the weapons and found 2 RK's with something wrong, pobably in firing mode or cocked instead of safe mode, so they were given 5 minutes of constant reloading/cocking the bolt on the gun xD
Its about 6 years when i was in the army and my gun was rk-62 made in jyväskylä' rifle factory in 1964... yes 64... but it was in good condition, the number was 41147 :)
Thats interesting, we kept weapons in those cages in very rare scenarios.
and while i never knew there is other places for them lol. maybe it is the modern day coming more dumber and "babylike"
@@emonea when did u do the conscription ?
I knew it was fictional.🇫🇮 😂
i havent been in Army yet my dad has and my grandfather was in Kosovo in Army im 16 now where i live Army service is not mandatory just as Voulenteer stuff for men and female
Alokas Suhakka is a personality type, they are on some sort of spectrum for sure. I've met plenty of them and the reality is that once the school, or whatever you are in is ending, the Alokas Suhakka person is going to graduate at the bottom, if they haven't already quit since it turns out they weren't the best, and everyone hates them too.. You can be less knowledgeable, or not as intelligent but if you are arrogant too.. forget any kind of sympathy. No one is going to help them.
Suhakka is getting humbled by the army experience later in the video, its pretty cool
Lithuania 9 months as volunteer, it's pritty simular to Finnish army but we can't chose company
We also do not get to choose, we get to wish!
south korean for 18 months 😢
@Emonea keep up the gut content how long have you been in the finish army
I tried joining the army at 18, didn't pass medical though
:( that sucks!
Härra and Proua would be the Estonian words for Mister and Madam.
What's worst than a policeman? A military policeman.
Just kidding
Finnish military police men, because they dont want to be there most of them 😂
My friend and I were almost put in the guardhouse by the military police because we climbed through the gates and bought food for whole companies, and since the canteen did not work and there was little food in the field kitchen, since the command of the military unit was very corrupt. If that 's what it is in Russia .
Ukrainian here and I wish you to not to let know what's military service for.
I dont have to, everyone already knows :D
Canada. 3 years.
mentally overwhelmed and frustrated that men are deprived of their body autonomy, forced into mentally/physically torturing labor against their will, being treated like a worthless piece of artillery meat and nobody brings that topic to the table when it comes to “gender equality” discussion. As a 17 year old young man, this sad reality makes me incredibly depressed.
The pressure to conform to traditional gender roles is insane, especially in a supposedly progressive society. The idea of being forced into a role based solely on my gender is frustrating and degrading. The fear of being separated from family and friends, being forced to suppress my own unique values/aspirations, shave my head and subjected to grueling physical and mental challenges, and potentially risking my life in conflicts I may not believe in is overwhelming. It's disheartening to see others (mostly women who weren’t forced to this) laugh at these struggles, as they fail to understand the depth of anxiety and insecurity it instills in young men like myself
I volunteer in the Finnish army so this game is funny to me. The purpose of the Finnish army is to make sure we can defend ourselves in case our home country gets attacked. Finnish men can choose between civilian service or army and people that are not physically or mentally strong enough for it do not need to do either. I volunteered because the army is a great experience and I want to be able to defend my home country in case it get attacked :) Hope this adds some perspective!
Army is not mandatory for men in Finland. If you don't like it, don't go.
@@emonea yeah of course, I know that very well. However, you can’t deny that this system is ridiculously sexist against men. I understand that not all women are physically capable of combat roles, but not all men either. The option to do civilian service is still an involuntary servitude and it doesn’t involve any harsh physical requirements, yet it only applies to men. I know a guy who was forced into the civilian service, to essentially work as a sl@ve, not getting paid, having to delay his studies while his female friends already had one year of early head-start.
This is what he wrote: I'm doing the civillian service right now and I wanna
die tbh. It annoys me so much when I see finnish
feminists complain avout the "gender pay gap" when
I'm literally forced to work one year without any pay
just because I happened to be born with a Y
chromosome.Meanwhile all my female friends have already spent a year in university because they weren't forced into this by the Finnish government. I'm forced to work for a year without pay because of a
genetic trait (Y chromosome) that I was born with and
didn't choose to have. Back in the old days when
people were forced to work without pay because of a
genetic trait they were born with, it was called slavery.
@@emonea I don’t want to mock your service, nor the institute of Finnish defense. I deeply appreciate your service as a volunteer. I just want to speak my mind on the social issue of forced conscription and its negative impact on young generations of guys
@@emoneabut you don’t want to acknowledge the harsh reality of this discriminatory system. That’s really sad to me and as a teenage guy, this is a disgrace. I regard it as a personal attack on my dignity as a man. My body and my life existence is worthy as much as yours, doesn’t matter that I happened to be born with balls and d$ck - stop viewing men as worthless artillery meat shields!!! Im sick of you all
Hyvä Video
What do u think about the army? I mean like how fun it is and all that
It was a hell of a experience. Sometimes it sucked more than anything, but in the end those moments are the best memories. 100% worth it and can be super fun as well.
@@emonea thats just what my dad said about the army, he said 50% pain in the ass and 50% fun
Olisi toivottavaa, että et jakaisi kuvia palvelusajalta missä näkyy varusteita. Muuten kiva video. 👍
@@emonea
As s swede i like the game and i am going to defend Sweden 🇸🇪 and Finland 🇫🇮 beacuse we have a saying in Sweden

Been in army for 1 and a half year in Ukraine. Wasted time, worst experience...
Yeah I would never want to defend my country either, waste of time!
Nice try, swedish army, but I still won't serve here.
Army was a great experience, stories for a life time. You do you though!
