I have very thin nails and I won't be able to use the electronic file. The best I can use would be ridge remover fine file to take the shine off. Would that be an acceptable alternative?
How high do you have your efile while cleaning up the spillage and cuticles,? And what type of efile from melody Susie do you have. I have the cheaper one from them the pink one but I want a better one from the brand and I really like yours
Hi, I find that if I apply the tip right up to the cuticle (which looks best at first) as it grows out it doesn’t look great as there was not room to take the topcoat over the edge to make grow out look neat. Any tips welcome x
You can leave space between the tip and the cuticle and then apply foundation gel to fill in the area or you can thin out the cuticle area of the tips a bit with a file before applying.
So I have the KS jelly tip kit but when I got the tips, they were too small. My nail beds are a bit wide. I don’t know if it’s because of the shape or what but I couldn’t use them. With these Amazon gel tips, can I use the KS system with them? Don’t want to have to spend more on another kit..
So you are using a builder gel to glue the full cover gel tips ? ❤ I have everything ready but I’m not sur if I should use builder gel or glue 😂lol…..your nails look great btw❤
I started using these kinds of tips but I have a problem. My nails are medium long and the free edge goes downwards. Therefore, if the tip fits the cuticle area really well, it does not fit the free edge. Should I cut my nails short? Should I simply fill the space and practically incorporate the free edge into the 'new' free edge? Help! 🙈
I always cut my nails really short before applying but I’ve seen them applied on longer nails, try adding more gel to fill the space I would assume or at the very least file the free edge and remove the portion of your nail that curves downward. I’m not a licensed nail tech so that’s just a suggestion from a DIY’er
how do u get them to be not crooked at least one of my middle fingers always is crooked cus when i'm putting on the tip i can't really tell if it's crooked until i've cured it cus of how u have to hold it
In my most recent video I used a new lamp, it’s a hands free table lamp with an adjustable neck, total game changer. You’re able to see the nail as it’s curing. Highly recommended!
Hi, are you referring to the sculpted type of full cover tips that have a deeper apex? If so, I don’t have that type of tip in my collection. I prefer to use tips that sit closer to the nail. If I ever purchase that type of tip I’ll definitely upload a tutorial using them.
Hi! I have a tutorial using half nail tips using polygel. I don’t use acrylic as of right now but will at some point. No, you don’t have to use acrylic to apply full nail tips, you can apply with gel.
On the full coverage tip when you apply the gel do you mean the foundation gel that you are using? I know you applied it to your natural now but is that the same product you applied to the gel full coverage nail?
My problem is that the gel glue spills onto my fingertips at the edge of my natural nail. And then I spend so much time trying to get it off my skin before I flash cure. How do I prevent that?
I have the same issue sometimes, it’s because of the amount of glue used and how hard you press the tip onto your nail. I try to press only until the glue reaches the end of my nail and then cure or I try to apply less glue so that it doesn’t spill out.
Is there a similar colour to pink gellac vintage nude that you would recommend available to Australian viewers? Beautiful nails and tutorial. Anyone know of any colours?

How high do you have your efile while cleaning up the spillage and cuticles,? And what type of efile from melody Susie do you have. I have the cheaper one from them the pink one but I want a better one from the brand and I really like yours
I never really use it higher than 5000 RPM because that’s a comfortable speed for me. I use the Scarlett drill.
Wow these look amazing! How do you remove these please?
Thank you! I soak them off with acetone.
Hi. Is it the gelidh foundation your putting on the well of the nail before curing x
Yes
So I have the KS jelly tip kit but when I got the tips, they were too small. My nail beds are a bit wide. I don’t know if it’s because of the shape or what but I couldn’t use them. With these Amazon gel tips, can I use the KS system with them? Don’t want to have to spend more on another kit..
Yes, you can use the KS system with these tips.
i don’t own an e-file, is there another way to rough up the inside of the tip?
Yes, you can use a hand file or buffer or you can use primer, just apply a thin layer to the inside of the tip.
@@PerfumedAndPolished thank u!
I applied the nails. Not exactly the way you recommended, but I was able to get them to stay put. Thank you so much 😊
Awesome! Thank you 😊
So you are using a builder gel to glue the full cover gel tips ? ❤ I have everything ready but I’m not sur if I should use builder gel or glue 😂lol…..your nails look great btw❤
Thank you! I’m using a foundation gel, or gel glue that has to be cured.
@@PerfumedAndPolished thanks 😊 ❤️
I really like this video. Straight forward 🥰tfs
Thank You 😊
I started using these kinds of tips but I have a problem.
Do you have a link to the e-bit you use to clean up the “spilled” gel?

Would you post a video on applying full coverage tips with an apex please?
Hi, are you referring to the sculpted type of full cover tips that have a deeper apex? If so, I don’t have that type of tip in my collection. I prefer to use tips that sit closer to the nail. If I ever purchase that type of tip I’ll definitely upload a tutorial using them.
hey can i know what is the name of the glue used at 5:14 ?? Thankyou for such a detailed video !

Thank you for your video!
Thank you for watching 😊
what if i don't have a efile for to edge the gel nail
You can use a hand file or buffing block, buff the cuticle area of the tips before applying.
This might seem like a dumb question but how come you don’t paint over the shiny tips?
Gel polish may peel away from the tip if left shiny, roughing up the surface helps with adhesion.
I’m new to nail care and have a questions: does acrylic not need to be applied to full nails?
: do you have tutorials on half nail tips?
Hi! I have a tutorial using half nail tips using polygel. I don’t use acrylic as of right now but will at some point. No, you don’t have to use acrylic to apply full nail tips, you can apply with gel.
Ok thank you so much!! I’m about to attempt on my daughter !!
On the full coverage tip when you apply the gel do you mean the foundation gel that you are using? I know you applied it to your natural now but is that the same product you applied to the gel full coverage nail?
Yes, the foundation gel is what I applied to the tips.
Great video! Thank you!
Thank You ☺️
My problem is that the gel glue spills onto my fingertips at the edge of my natural nail.
Great tutorial. Thanks
Thank you 😊
Is the foundation the nail glue? My apologies if you mentioned it- I’m watching this on silent as my hubby sleeps 😅
Yes, I use the foundation gel to adhere the nails.
Is there a similar colour to pink gellac vintage nude that you would recommend available to Australian viewers? Beautiful nails and tutorial.
Anyone know of any colours?

Hey girl, do you stick them on with the foundation polish from Gelish ? And they stay ? And how would you infill these ?
I use a foundation gel to adhere and I use that same gel to do a fill.
@@PerfumedAndPolished this is crazy 🤯 I'm in Australia and we use the foundation as a regular base coat !! 2 purposes I love it ♥️ thanks boo xx
