Sigma does act like this in game, just it's overshadowed by his insane/violent sides. I think he might have some sort of split personalities based on how his trailer showed him. He went from an intelligent scientist, to a purely crazy and helpless personality, and then to a powerful and ruthless killer personality. I think it's just that we're shown the killer side more in game, with only some voicelines showing his original nicer side. idk I'm probably overthinking it
