Such a beautiful lake! I still have not checked out the staircase trail yet mostly because I hear it's really busy and kind of a local party spot for the local hooligans. Did you ever try using the rigging wrench? I have another cool toy sitting around collecting dust that I think would be really useful for solo work that I want to give you. I got a nice gas powered portable winch as a trade that I think you could get a lot of use out of that I never use.
I haven't been able to use the wrench yet. I have a job coming up I will need to rig and will try it out. Did you get the Lewis Wench? I was. thinking of buying one last time I was down at Madsens. We will have to meet up at staircase this year and hike it. It can get a little crazy during certain times of the year, but that is mainly Party Rock and not the hiking trails.
@@SOLOTREESERVICE It's the portable winch brand winch, I think it's a little better design than the lewis winch since you can just mid line attach any 1/2 rope and I think a bit more pulling power as well. It's just sitting around, I have only tested it out a couple times.
sick video. you make climbing loot so effortless. ive been climbing for 2 years now and trying to improve to get to that level. got any tips or tricks on position or getting balanced on the spurs?
Hey buddy just curious do you take a climb line up with you on your saddle or you don't use one often I hardly ever see you in the pines at least the fir trees have one with you
I almost always have a climb line with me in a pack on my back. Since I don't ever film myself climbing from a different viewpoint, no one ever sees my pack. I rarely do any climbing without a line to bail out if something were to go wrong.
Awesome videos be safe my friend and God bless you always can't wait for the end always positive ✨
