  • The richest 1% of people create the same amount of carbon as the poorest two-thirds in the world. That's according to data published in a new report by the charity, Oxfam. It found that the lifestyles of the wealthy, such as taking frequent flights and eating out in restaurants, are closely connected to climate change. Oxfam's chief called for world leaders to “end the era of extreme wealth.”

Recapping it in an upside-down way, thanks to an anecdote, and of course a bit adjusted for the key words. I was having my daily coffee at my daily restaurant. There was the newspaper with titles about a strike. The owner, a senile lady, came and said to me "You know, you know me. I'll tell you. I, that lean towards left, am asking what the devil this mafia of workers that pretend to plunder the poor well-offs that give them jobs !;?.,:! They should clean up their acts instead of upsetting their poor employers!"
