Omfg I'm sorry but I just imagined: "Sup bby girl. See my ass? Yeah, it's like a fuckin rainbow up in here. You tryna smash? Look at my colorful ass. Look."
Pixar needs to make a movie about spiders and have these guys be the comedy relief. They could be considered the tiny, weird, tribal spiders that all other spiders try to avoid. lol These things are awesome!
This footage is absolutely amazing, particularly considering the size of the little fellow. I had no idea that arachnids could be so enchantingly beautiful. And the ritual for attracting a mate is spectacular!
I am extremely arachnaphobic, but those fuzzy little jumping spiders have always been an exception. I think it's because their legs are short and stumpy instead of long and spindly, plus their silly little faces make them seem very unthreatening
Same. I hate Daddy Longlegs and giant spiders with long legs, but I'm fine and okay with tiny spiders that are fluffy, colorful, and have short stubby legs.
I think you have it wrong. Daddy long leg spiders (Pholcidae) are also known as cellar spiders, and they are indeed under the Arachnids. They are also masters of web manipulation compared to some other spider families.
You should watch that video where they show daddy long legs getting his legs detached. It's pretty painless for them and they do it to escape from predators, but it's pretty funny watching them walk around drunkenly and see their little bodies bob around.
I've always been fascinated with jumping spiders as they are seem to be one of the few insects to actually recognize a human face and will track your movements. These videos are a great blend of nature and human art. They remind me of the courtship dances of Birds of Paradise (and just as colorful). I love the way their movements look like stop motion animation. Going to watch all of them!
Jay Hilderbran Thanks for stopping by, I agree that jumping spiders are really something quite special in the invertebrate world. Their vision is phenomenal and comparable to ours and they do react in ways that is also familiar to us
"track your movements." that one time a spider ran at me while i was on the toilet so i ran across my house with it chasing me into my parents room. I'm British, spiders aren't even dangerous here, I'm just terrified of them and it was chasing me 😭I mean full on followed my footsteps exactly, it wanted to get me. I was screaming "I'm not your mother!" at it while my brother had to look for a shoe. Never got to finish peeing
After seeing this one I had to watch them all. They are all very interesting and pretty but this one is special. I mean some of them also have faces, one even have a smiley. I couldn't help but see a masked aboriginal dancing and waving its long hairy thin arms. At 2:50 I also could see its legs. Great job. Beautiful specimen. Thanks for sharing.
Sergio Avelar I agree this is special, surprisingly this spider was known for over 100 years and lives near a big city, but only now that I filmed it people start to pay attention
These guys are absolutely tiny (usually around 5mm) yet they have so much personality. It’s hard to believe this is real as it outshines any animation in the cuteness level.
Yes that is what I was saying to my mom when we were watching this. I'm trying to convince her that not all spiders are evil. Some even have good dance moves!
Because that's exactly what it looks like in FSX Steam Edition. Welcome to the Steam Edition btw. *hot air balloon flies by the tower at 400 knots while absolute discord is happening all over the airport*
I am more worried about accidentally squishing these spiders when they are around.. So i'd try to shoo them outside or catch them and let them outside.
That's the most adorable thing I've ever seen...and I'm not a big fan of spiders. It does make me curious about the intricacy of the dance and what would one of these little guys think if they saw me practicing semaphore.
+sir potoo nearly each and every jumping spider is really cute, but even some ugly long legged housespiders resemble, if you look closely, hello kitty. I tried that. People said i should warn them before i ever post such a terrifying thing again :D
Daddy longlegs are cute. I think it all comes down to how these ones don't move like other spiders. that's probably the creepy factor is that most spiders creep.
Thanks to all who currently share this video, much appreciated. I hope people will feel a little less arachnophobic as a result. If it sparked your curiosity, check out my other 11 spider videos
Thanks, I know it appears at hundreds of sites, but the last few hours something significant must have happened, perhaps it was the site you mentioned perhaps something different...
Ohhh God! I am so in love with these cuties! Saw a documentary about them yesterday on tv, and I completely felt fascinated by their cuteness and unique way to conquer the female's heart! Their eyes are so cute and have this really cute face, and colors, and drawings! This one looks like he literally has a face painted on his tail!! They are really cute and beautiful 🥺 Have I already said that they are really the cutest?? ? 🤔🤔😂😂😂
Mike Kollin i'm not gonna lie i was in a trance and it the spider looks like a voodoo warrior probably the background behind the voodoo masks lol this video creeped me out xD
Peacockspiderman, you are a true artist. These videos are phenomenal and the music set to them is just perfect. If you had your videos on a DVD or Blu-ray, I promise you I would buy it. These small and beautiful creatures are surreal.
I LOVE your editing of music and dance...you must have had a wonderful time putting this together. So much fun to watch. We know so little about this big round world. Keep up your great work of creating awe and wonder!!
I used to have HUGE arachnophobia where I could not even look at a video of spiders. And then I decided "fine I'll watch this video* because I wanted to watch tiny spiders first. And that's the day that I got into spiders! And I believe that this peacock spider is always gonna be my favorite 🥰😍
I hope that more people start to love all life on our beautiful planet, and all the beauty life brings to us :) Amazing upload (tnx) :) PS; I hope he survives the female ;)
I love these spiders! They say that it is probable that they see colors more than what we are seeing and when they do their dance it could show vibrations and colors that is beyond comprehension. They make sound too when they do this dance...we can't hear it with our hearing just on its own.
Wow, I am in awe of the creators designs. Just astonishing how beautiful and different creatures are created to be so similarly magnificent. God bless!
1:30 This is what happens when mother nature gets bored at work: She uses finger paints to draw a witch doctor face on the back of a spider. She adds a little orange hair and pipe cleaner to complete the look, and finally tells the spider to go put on a choreographed puppet show... Can I have her job?
Just awesome work mate!! Must be challenging videoing these guys! Just recently purchased a macro lens and finally chasing these little fellas like I've wanted to for a while now :-)
Peacockspiderman I really enjoy your videos on these spiders, and am an amateur photographer. I was wondering, would you be willing to share your camera and lens set-up for these amazingly high quality shots? I may be interested in doing my own nature photography on a similar scale. The jumping spider. I have had lots of them as pets. They are so smart. I swear she knew the difference between myself , if a stranger was looking at her. Amazing. There intelligence is far more superior than science gives these awesome spiders.
One of my favorite videos on the internet. And while the mousy brown female would have none of it, I was impressed with this little dancer! The Australian didgeridoo couldn't be more perfect to accompany this colorful dancer...
I normally don't like spiders. I go bit by one when I was just a kid. An it made me sick and left a scar. But this little fella is beautiful and talented. That looked like some kind of tribel dance. I reckin not all spiders are bad after all. ❤😊
Oh God, I must admit this fellow impressed me with his dance and all that colors. Great video, perfect music. I really enjoyed ...best regards from Serbia!
This amazing mating dance from an arachnid that has a brain the size of a grain of sand compared to our mating dance of "Hey girl, lemmi buy you a drink"

Every type of jumping spider is so precious
No he's tryna get a piece 😂
His spell was powerful, it worked on the humans too!
All that for the bich to kill him after getting laid :/

Check out "Lucas the Spider". Not Pixar, but still cute and amusing short vids.

Kinda trance inducing. Plus the colorful part of the spider's tail looks like a bird face. Simply amazing on many levels.

Even the rejected male peacock spider can take solace in the fact that he was not the accepted black widow male spider.
