Tying a hook Keeper on a fishing rod

- l often wonder why every rod is not fitted with a hook keeper, but for lure fishing i feel they are a must and tying them is pretty straight forward basically they are just like tiny guides.

Nice work! I didn't understand the two pull threads on the first one until i saw the silver trim threads. Looks so much easier than the way I have been doing it. 👍👍
People don’t understand how easy it is to make a fishing rod . When you invest in a good motor to wind the thread you buy the blanks and whip the guides on after you space them correctly for the rod deflection . Then you sell the $100 blank to a guy who doesn’t know this for $600. There you have it. The rods you buy in the store are made by slaves in east Asia who wrap them by hand . Anyone who fishes for a hobby should learn how to make their own rods . You can get that $1000 sage rod for the blank price and the more you buy the bigger the discount . Invest $1000 make 10 rods and get yours for free and put money in your pocket while saving the other 9 guys who buy your rods 25%

This isn’t skill and doesn’t take years to learn. 😂😂whipping guides on a rod is pretty easy. Adding patterns and making it look gaudy don’t help you catch fish but people who buy crap like that don’t catch many fish to begin with . I can show a 12 year old Asian slave how to do what this video shows in 15 minutes and have him producing the same results in less than 4 hours. Skills laughing my fucking ass off!….

Amazing work but may I suggest the hook keeper style that bends back towards the handle. It is awesome for hooking both normal hooks and weedless soft plastic
this not a lure rod, its a traditional ledger rod, the keeper is for un-baited hooks, thanks for taking the time to comment
