Hi Peter, Hope you are having a blessed Sunday. I too live close by the San Francisco Airport. I get use to the noise of the airplane landing and take off. Bought some Japanese cherry trees seeds and planting to grow them to make Bonsai tree. I also bought some variety of Japanese Maple seeds. I love to do shallow photography also. It the contrast of light and dark that makes the shallow photography so interesting. Strong contrast lighting gives the object a dramatic photo. Take care and have a blessed week.🙏🙏🙏
I was admiring the larch forest only yesterday when we visited. I had no idea it only took 10 minutes to put together! It looks like it's always been that way.
Yes,the very bold Gaseous Owlicus , more commonly known as the Great Horned Pooting owl. 🦉 They can clear out an entire area of biped of the Humanus Crowdus quite quickly. Peter is very lucky to have one so close! 😉👍
A masked intruder was in my bonsai garden early this morning while it was still dark. I didn't know that racoons appreciated bonsai. He was standing on his hind legs and viewing my junipers. I hope he enjoyed the view.
Your hard work and lifetime investment are the top of the mountain world class. Such I don't have the words. I wish I could practice drawing your bonsai.
Absolutely amazing. Peter you have been an inspiration to me since I discovered your channel about five years ago. Thank you Sir keep up the wonderful work
Sometimes when I can’t make my mind up which branch to remove from one of my bonsai, i shine a torch light through it so that I can see the silhouette on the wall behind it helps to make that final decision whether to remove or not. Equally I occasionally do the same when welding my metal bonsai it helps with the decision to weld a branch on and gives you another perspective of what the final tree will look like 🙃
Beautiful video, Peter. Thanks for sharing and thanks a lot for your dedication on the book through Gonzalo from Bonsai Fácil at Mistral Bonsai. Hope I can meet you one day at yours. Cris Zeta 😊
Hey Peter, I know you said that a video was to follow on the creation of that larch forest, but I was under the impression you couldn't repot a larch with that much growth on it. That it had to be repotted when the buds were just about to open?? Yours seems to have some growth already on it. What is your secret??
Terrific video, I have a spot in my garden I call my moon garden. There is a very pale blue spruce garden tree surrounded by flowers in various shades of pale blue, lavender and white Under a full moon it's quite nice.
Cricky Mr Peter Chann just outstanding video,👏👏👏 colours and contrast with light at night.🏅🏅🏅 Just brilliant thanks for sharing your lovely nursery. Keep the dream alive son Aussie Aussie Aussie GDAY MATE from brisbane Australia.🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Night time is just as beautiful as the day time, I always enjoy and admire your work
Loving the random Peter Chan fart at 6:16. No wonder those trees grow well. Even the air is fertilized!
I have squeaky pump Crocs - I dont do rude !!

Unusual night noises at 6.16 definitely an owl hooting 😅

Nice one!! Was expecting a “bhoot” to pop up suddenly from behind the trees😂

I do not consider myself a "Bonsai Master" or any such thing - just a gardener who has an eye for beauty in trees.
Good fun

Your plants look very dramatic at night.
A completely different video to the normal Herons walk around. Some very dramatic shots with the trees in silhouette with the shadow behind.

Peter regularly gives special sound FX, haha.

What a wonderful perspective. I particularly enjoyed the trees under the netting- it reminds me of camping at night in a forest
