Two notes about the above description for this UA-cam posting: 1. Rio Grande de Mindanao is a colonizer's term; the ancient pre-colonial name of river is still used in Maguindanao Province: it is the Pulangi River. 2. the traditional Maguindanaon celebratory banquet is a pagana; not the typo "pagan"
dopeheads who call this "dope", are beneath the dignity of such heritage and tradition. Respect yourself, respect your religion ,and respect your past.
There wouldn’t be a “Philippines” at all, the archipelago wasn’t at all united as one country so stop with this ultra nationalist bull crap mindset and study history
In chronological order: Asik, Kabpandala, Kappa Malong Malong, Kandulang, Kambuyang, Kasanduayan, I'm not sure what this dance is (I think it's Kapangalay sa Maguindanao), Silong sa Ganding, and Pawakan.
I am hindi po ako familiar sa language nila sir , dahil ung mga sinabi nila sir is prang twist na sya ng sayaw para maging maganda din po siguro ang output. actually sa mga iilang bangsamoro dances na nakita ko is no more speech kay intruments also lang po.
Very Wrong... MAGUINDANAO is not a tribe... Lahat talaga gagawin for the sake of art?
Thank you for showing my tribe's song and dance.

What’s the title of the first dance with the dancers wearing gold crowns and gold fingers?
Beautiful! I could imagine this would have been the dominant culture in Philippines if the Spanish never colonized the islands 🤩

Makes sense since pre colonial Manila and Tondo royals had connections to Mindanao especially in Sulu
@@aidenlancesantos536 Tausug culture is very different from the culture shown in the video
We will become a Muslim majority country like Malaysia and Indonesia.
The music of Mindanao echoes across the Maharlikan land.

Permission to use your video po para sa dance presentation namin, salamat po
Anong tawag po sa dances nung unang tatlo? Silong sa ganding po ba yan?
Pangalay cyst.... pero d ganyan ang costume niya..
@@naimsalilama2005 thankyou 😊❤
I am meron sa tausog pero mostly pangalay is sa badjao. marami klasi ang pangalay dance, pangalay sa agong, pangalay sa kawayan...
I am ung silong sa ganding is yung part na marami sila ( girls only ) at don sa may slow na music sa intro.
I am hindi po ako familiar sa language nila sir , dahil ung mga sinabi nila sir is prang twist na sya ng sayaw para maging maganda din po siguro ang output. actually sa mga iilang bangsamoro dances na nakita ko is no more speech kay intruments also lang po.
I don't appreciate when dances are highly choreographed; much less when men move more "girly" than women. Example is that man dancing a Pangalay.
