Another thing with Extra Effects is heat shimmering and heat waves that can deform the image and just give you a generally less clear image and making it harder to aim in a lot of situations. With the reticle is it's always good to run Diagonal for the reticle indicator so you can more easily line up your gun with the hit marker of someone who shot you. allowing you to more effectively find where an enemy hit you from. You can pass on it for Arcade even though i'd recommend it but in Sniper it's a must if you want to elevate your gameplay. For Outline under Reticle you want to use Simplified as DarkNinja said but something i'd also recommend that i don't see a whole lot of people use is, set "Penetrable Area" to None as if there is small objects that you can shoot through it won't show them and trick you into thinking there is something you can't shoot through. "Impenetrable Area" should be fill. It's very clear that you can't shoot a tank through that.
@@Jayden_o777 the reason I still like to use texture fill for destructible objects is just so I know that my shell with be losing 25 pen iirc if I shoot through it, which is sometimes useful to know. Otherwise I agree.
@@PQ13I’m pretty sure it shows those objects as fill if shooting HEAT, i may be wrong but i think that’s how it works. I’d need to test. EDIT: It doesn't show objects as fill with HEAT although ig that hasn't been an issue for me since i know where most of the small objects are on most maps

Plus with HEAT shells it will get stuck so i just leave it do dotted…
