I just got the IS-7 in time for Onslaught and carried a 52% win rate in it, I love it. This is going to help me a lot. I'm averaging 2.4k dmg a game but I need to learn how to use the armor better.
I have a feeling that most people who start playing will realize very quickly that Is is not a magic tank.... If you're thinking of doing damage you're going to have to spam gold like a motherfucker. The cannon is disastrously inaccurate. You canCount on terrible matchmaking....Probably because a lot of people have been playing this tank since it was praised in this and similar videos.

Me and my friend tried pushing W with the mighty Maus😂😂 We were literally pushing the enemies while being punching bags. And our team were making shots behind us. It was crazy experience. We played like 15 games and won at least 13 of them.
Thank you very much iyouxin for this video, I’ve been playing my IS-7 the wrong way. Instead of sniping or just full out yolo’ing, I’ve figured out how to play aggressively and not being stupid. I actually got a 7.6K game after 3 tries after watching this video

Something you didn't mention, but you can reduce ramming damage to yourself by ramming with the corner of your tracks. Point of contact determines ram damage as spaced armor and armor thickness is calculated. I've tested this with the old Ram Panzer extensively.
I would run food over speed governor. With food you would gain a small improvement in terrain resistance so the difference in mobility would be almost imperceptible. While you also got a good improvement in every aspect of the tank. Love the IS7, was my very first tier 10 to ever 100% mark, and was also the easiest tank i ever marked.
with that logic he should also replace grousers with rammer among other things... he build is a fun speed focused build that isnt as weak as you'd think, of course its not as good as a full sweat meta build he's trying to have fun and get content, not sweat and tryhard
@@leno7492 The point is, youre still very speedy. Grousers actually makes a noticeable diference in speed, while governors not so much if compared to food. And thats actually a very meta way of playing is7. The optimal way i would say. IS7 was always about rushing to key positions.
6:15 that would be such a great idea for wg to implement something like that where you can choose what kind of kills you want to show off. Maybe how many obj 279e's you have destroyed
Ha, I was gonna link the Incoming video as I saw it after your last IS 7 video, but of course you are already aware. I was pretty surprised to see equipment giving module HP doesn't affect when modules are damaged (which is especially a pain on ammo racks), only when they are destroyed (ok it's worse when the ammo rack is destroyed). I really wonder if that is a bug as it makes no sense that the "damaged" threshold doesn't change when you add module HP. Do you have any way to poke WG and see if that's intended? Also, very nice showing the armour in the garage!

Yesterday I had a battle on Pilsen where both teams had 4 platoons, including full IS-7 platoons. And all platoons decided to hold W in the 0 line (bushline). That was the weirdest battle on Pilsen Ive ever seen with all heavies brawling in the bushline and none in the city. Our IS-7s won though (I also focused on helping them) and that won the battle.
Is-7 is my favourite tank because of these rams and troll armour, but I'm dying too often. I hope the video help me to go into more calculated push. And these 2 hours was like a single W, thanks a lot!
Without a doubt, IS-7 is the alpha of WOT since the beginning and it will continue on so till the end, no competition, even if stats says that it aint, I beg to differ.
Your videos increased IS-7 platoons in Randoms but they often have no W key. Pushing too late or in the wrong flank/position. Thank you for allowing me to stet pad😂
Thanks for Reminding me about this, This is Mostly the Build i put on my Lowe and all my Italian TD's... I just haven't Looked aat my 10's in Forever really because Tier 10 Quality is in the Shitter anymore... Been 3yrs and More since I saw a Grand Battle, and I'll Load Up the Deathstar just to get it to Trip due to the Low Ammo Count, and STILL Can't get it... This Build on my Lowe, Bounty Build that is, gets it to 40/18kph, works just as well to get the Italian TD Guns to the Heavy line where they're more Useful... I kept trying the Classic Gun Build on my IS7 because I've been too Lazy to Change it Apparently... lol

My teammates in medium tanks camped at base would not go and spot and scout , so I did it with my is7 and got spotter award and confederate and we won the battle lol 😅

Just need friends to platoon with. Only real problem. Not as many opportunities to push aggressively if you have little to no backup.

It is a mod called armor penetration indicator. You can get it for example in Aslains mod pack.

in field mods i skipped the 4 km/h speed to get more gunhandling, you never get to top speed anyway.

Takes about 2 minutes of active use before your engine gets half damaged.
Not entirely true. You can use it for 30 minutes without damaging. Just have to keep it on while you are faster half your top speed
