There's nothing wrong with collecting inexpensive knives, so long as you understand what they are and their limitations. However, if you plan to buy a knife that you can put to serious hard use in the field and actually rely on, then spending a lot more on a good single knife, made by quality and reputable manufacturer is always what I recommend over the latter...
Hi Toad, you are very right in what you say. If I was to buy a car it wouldn’t be a cheap, small, low powered tin can, I would source the the car with the most reliable strong motor and body that was the right size for my needs and it would have a decent pedigree. When I brought the cheap movie knives I wasted my money but I have learnt my lesson and I now know better. I do collect display only knives like my Scottish Dirks and Sgian Dugh’s but they are not meant for anything more than ornaments. These days my finances are very tight so I hold back with what I get. I’ve got my eye on a number of knives but I will need to save the pound notes first 😵💫. I’m thinking of setting up an Etsy page to sell on some of my cutlery but the UK Laws are a bit weird when it comes to selling ‘weapons’. In the old days I would have set up a market stall and the problem would be solved 🙂. Take care brother I always appreciate your feedback 👍.
Hi Tim, the toothpick is my favourite. I have seen one used hard but the tip broke off. Blades UK have a decent quality Arkansas Toothpick at a good price but it’s a different shape. If I had the pennies I would buy most of Blades UK’s catalog, they have a lot of large blade knives in D2 Steel that are meant to be used as well as a lot of display knives. They have a Short Sword Bowie with a D2 Blade for £80 that I’m saving up for 🤩. Take it easy brother 👍.
@@timbo66 you and me both. It is worth shopping around as BUK had the fixed blade resin handled Hunter that Raven Forge were selling but BUK have it for £14 and RF charged £19 before it sold out. A couple of months ago BUK had a warehouse job going, I live many miles away or I would have applied. It would have been hard not to buy knives every payday. Shame BUK don’t have a walk around shop, it would be a great place to hang out during the day 👍.
They are all really cool looking knives with just a little common sense they will make good users as knives not axes. good review Mr.Toad
Thanks buddy 👍
Great review!!!
Thanks👍

I like my AA Movie knives. They`re cheap copies, so I can have lots! I really, really would like a good quality Toothpick though.

@@Toadonthehill. Blades UK is about 20 miles away from me, fortunately they don`t have a physical shop, I`d live there and be skint!
