For the glucagon get Baqsimi. The instructions are way less complicated which is what you want in an emergency. You could also do the oral glucose gel and keep that in the house because it melts straight into the gums.

I have the Gvoke Hypopen, which is the one she wants to get, and you use it just like an epipen. pull the tab and shoot it in. Super simple! I think the Baqsimi would be more uncomfortable to shoot in your nose, for me personally. But the Gvoke is so, so simple in an emergency.

Low blood sugars can be so scary! I was talking to my mom one time and just passed out. She checked my blood sugar and it was 19. I didn’t even feel it coming, but like you, sometimes 50 can hit me super hard. It’s a crazy and unpredictable roller coaster!
