Wonderful How To video and very easy to follow. I just received my Mic2s for mt pocket 3 and was wondering how do.i connect two of them and this video explained exactly that. Thank you. Thumbs up from me. 🙏🙇♂️
2:10 this case is for charging mics. If you buy Mic 2 for Pocket 3 camera, both Mic2 mics can be connected directly to camera wirelessly without any any additional receiver. I just did, got Stereo. 3:02 The green line over here means you got only one mic connected. When both mics are connected The Pocket 3 shows 2 lines. I wouldn't expect any stereo and second transmission from second mic in such combination.
@@dboi4952 No. It switches to wireless Mic automatically. And if it's only one Mic, it will be Mono recording. When you turn off Wireless mic it switched to built-in one also automatically. They do not record simultaneously.
Thank you so much, you did a great job explaining all, very concise and solution based. Question: does the pocket 3 creator kit come with a magnatic clip for the mic (same magnet clips for the wireless combo pack)? Thanks in advance.
Thank you so much! :) Yes it come with the magnet. You can see everything that is include in the box in my detailed unboxing video : ua-cam.com/video/_MUE52Ur9dg/v-deo.html 😉
@HowToPM update! I found it, it was in the INNER, INNER pocket of a pocket - hidden to mess with me and only me. Hahahaha. None of thr unboxing videoe state where it would be either 😤🤣
You can press the record button if you want a back up audio source that records directly to the mic, which you can use in post production or if the recording from the camera audio is bad.
If I buy the DJI Mic set with two transmitters/mics separately, can I use both mics at the same time with the Pocket 3? If so, do I still need to use the receiver that comes with the DJI Mic kit or do they connect to the pocket 3 via Bluetooth in lieu of the receiver?
As far as I know you can use one of the mic. Bluetooth or one receiver connect over USB. Over that, you can also use the built in microphone that will record on a second wav fil.
It is better to get Mic 2 for pocket 3. You not going to need any receiver then. Mic 2 works with Pocket 3 directly, not compatible with pocket 2 and vise versa. Pocket 2 have a different design. You may use even Rode with receiver if you like more cumbersome thing to hold in your hand as Camera + receiver sticking out of camera.
BUT DID YOU KNOW ? The 32bit file is only stored in the microphone , the file that captured with the osmo it self isnt 32bit float. Just for your information.
Dear Friend This was the verrey best turorial i have seen. Could you please set up an external mike up in the same way eks the small Røde I am sure more than a million og user til be more THAN Happy And to You Happy New Year 2024.
I don't think you can. You can use up to two wireless mic and the internal mic at the same time. Note that the internal will be on a seperate file if you do it. If you want 4 mics, just record internally on the mic and mix it later. I know it's less convenient but I made a video that might help with few tips : ua-cam.com/video/GWoDFWFmHAY/v-deo.html
hi i just got my dji mic and trying to pair with pocket3 and green light does not turn to blue after holding down "rec" button green light keeps flasing? any help? Thanks
If you only see green light, the mic needs to be connected to the camera first via the wire. Then once connected via wire, you will now see the blue blinking light. Then click TX1 button in time stamp 1:14. Wait for it, and it should connect.

Very helpful, straight to the point, no fluff. Thank you.
Trat was perfect! Thank you! That was exactly what I was looking for. So sad that I have to connect the "old" mic with the adapter ...
Thank you. I had been wondering about the DJI mic 1
Hello do you guys think it can work with the mic boya BV-V20
Or just in general can we connect others mics except those one ?????
I never tried it but I believe if you have a USB-C mic it should work... Not sure for the bluetooth mics.

Question: when you connect the wireless mic, does the Pocket 3 still record from the internal mic as well?

Estaba cerca de comprar un nuevo GSI MIC 2, doy gracias por descubrir este video 🙏
Which specific mic is this you showed in the video
Absolutely spot on! Just what I needed❤
Great video, well done ! Could you please explain how to trigger photo capture or video capture remotely by pressing a button of the mic2 ?
I did not try that feature yet.
İf i have 2 mic2 transmitter and no reciever, can i connect them to pocket 3 at the same time? Or should i have the reciever to connect them?
Mic 2 connects with Pocket 3 at the same time directly without any problem and without any receiver. You'll get stereo also.

@@LouYorkLife Yep! It is a small piece, packed in small plastic bag.
So no need to press the record button on the mic right? Thank you
No need. I actually never tried that button yet.

Is it possible for the Osmo Pocket 3 to have 3 microphones?
Well you can have up to 2 wireless microphone and still use the internal microphone.
Do you need the transmitter to work the mic and is it needed for 2 mics connected?
The mic connect directly to the camera. No other device is needed.

So we can connect 2 mics and both mics will record at the same time. Correct? as in the same mic from the combo.
I did not had the chance to test it yet so I can't say.
But technically yes you can connect 2 mic.
Great, thank you
Can the pocket 3 be connected with 3 dji micros?
Only if you include the internal one.
@@HowToPM yeah, one internal and two from dji 2mic + case

how to connect the first generation of dji mic?
You need to connect it with the module that came with it. The first generation is not bluetooth.
is there a non dji solution
I never tried it but if you have a USB-C connection solution I would guess it could work.
D JAY I… why does everyone say D GEE I
