Yes 2nd house is of sustenance as well and maraka too, depends on how the status of the house is and how positively you do the activities of that house but in terms of marriage the 8th house is less of sustenance and more of maraka, it is the house where moon gets debilitated in kaalpurush… astrology is not simple set of rules, it has many layers and many hidden meanings that reveal itself if the rishis want it too

In one such example- Libra Ascendent- Saturn, Mars, Venus in - 8th house, sun,mercury,moon, Rahu- in 6th, and Jupiter (R) in 3rd. This is a horoscope of a celebrity lived 88 years and happily married for ~60 years. If I give this horoscope to anybody. They will just dump it. Is this really a horoscope?
