I’m coming back to say thank you to you. I lost hair drastically with chemicals and I didn’t find any other way to restore it. I tried the oil you recommended and did it for 2-3 months now and I finally see it stopped falling. Along with it I’m also putting egg, yogurt and lime pack every week and taking biotin tablets

yeah i also Use extenso treatment for my hair .For the first three months my hair became very smooth and Shiny. But later hair fall started and i lost too many hair .For that i use vitamin E and that help me alot but when i stop using it .My hairfall started again🥲 Although my hair are straigh and nice due to extenso but that hairfall and oily hairs are a major sideeffects that i am facing. Never use oil in extenso just my personal experience.Use anda dahee instead.

Thanks Hiba. I think Olaplex is great for treating hair after Extenso or Rebonding treatments. These treatments change original hair-structure (or bond) using very harsh chemicals.

@@CookinstylewithSamra yes I agree. Olaplex is good for damaged hair. The problem is a lot of people use them just for dry or frizzy hair but it won’t really work unless it’s chemically (or maybe otherwise?) damaged xx

Thank you so much for your video. I have just had a similar experience colouring my hair Sept 25 in Toronto. What an absolute nightmare to be experiencing my long, thick healthy naturally spiral hair degenerate before my very eyes. This issue is under-reported but it seems to be a version of Telogen Effluvium. I am waiting for the results of a scalp biopsy too but assuming it comes back normal and this is in fact a chemical reaction, then your video brings me hope. I have a long journey ahead I see. Peace to you.

@@user-yb9tp1je4v It was Telogen Effluvium. It stops gradually on its own if you have a healthy lifestyle and stop the issue that made it happen in the first place. Takes an average of 1 year to recover. My excessive shedding stopped in May. Good luck!

Hi Nusrat, Yes, I live in South of England where water is very hard but I was managing it with oiling over the last 15+ years. We have recently installed water softener also which has helped. You should try my DIY oil first and it should help. Olaplex treatments are also very good and you can try Olaplex 3 to begin with and see if it strengthens your hair.

Hey after having a chemical treatment from a salon. I'm facing obsene amount of hairloss. My hair were severly damaged. I have seen dermatologists. They are prescribing minoxidil. However, I'm looking for natural remedy. I can see hair growth after 4 months. But continues shedding is also there. It has triggered chronic talogen effluvium. Have you come accross anyone who faced this. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

    • @nanna5559
      @nanna5559 Рік тому +1

      Hello dear
I've been facing the same problem.
After I got a hair perm 1 year and a half ago I faced severe hair thinning.
Now I've been using onion juice on my scalp for 2 months and it's made a HUGE difference, I can see lots of regrowth and hair fall has reduced drastically. It's been like magic for me, I swear.
You have to chop an onion and put it in a blender, blend it and then once you have an onion paste, you put it i a filtering cloth and squeeze it to get the juice out. Then you apply it to your scalp, let it sit for 1 hour wearing a showering cap and then wash it off.
The negative side of doing this method is that it smells and even after you wash your hair the smell lingers for days.
If you can stay at home most of the time during the period of using this method (you have to use it for at least 4-6 months) then the smell won't be a huge problem. Just avoid sweating when you go out (don't go to the gym!) and getting wet.
To reduce the smell, use diluted apple cider vinegar after you've shampooed and rinsed your hair, let it sit for 3 to 5 minutes and wash it off.
Some people use a coffee scrub to get rid of the smell, I haven't tried this method cause I'm afraid it may clog the tubes, but if you wanna try it people say it works.
Also, I use onion juice every time I wash my hair, so that's every other day, but you can do it less than that and it will work anyway. But do it at least once a week.
So this method works wonders but I can understand that the smell might keep you from using it.
There is another method that doesn't smell and that even though I havent tried it I've read hundreds of success stories using it, so I think it's worth a try!
You have to do three things:
      1. Buy rosmery essential oil, and everytime you wash your hair, you put shampoo into your hand and then you add 3 to 5 drops of rosmery oil to it. Wash your hair and let the shampoo sit for 3 minutes, then rinse it as usual.
      2. Do an oil mask using a carrier oil and rosemary essential oil (essential oils ALWAYS have to be DILUTED). As a carrier oil, from what I've read I suggest you buy either jojoba oil, argan oil or pumpkin seed oil. The proportions are 5 drops of rosemary eo to 2 teaspoons of your carrier oil.
Let the mask sit on your scalp for 2 hours, then wash your hair.
Don't ever leave it on for too many hours, or the oils could clog your pores, leading to hair fall.
3.Buy fresh rosemary and mint every week, make rosemary mint water (it's very easy, you can look up it on youtube) put it into a spray bottle and spray it on your scalp twice a day every day. Don't wash it off, just let it dry. You can store this water for a maximum of 7 days in your fridge. Then throw it away and make some new water.
If neither of these methods work (I'm pretty sure they will work for you too!) then try with medicine. But I suggest trying natural methods first. Don't give up before you've tried either method for at least 6 months, for some people it takes 1 month to start seeing results but for some people it could take longer.
Oh and do a patch test before using either of these methods.
Also, you could rub garlic on you scalp, but only do it if you have a bald spot. If you just have areas where hair is thinning but it's there, then rubbing garlic on it could be be too harsh for the hair that's already there. But you could use this method for your hairline, it will lower it and make it fuller if you need it.
I hope my answer was helpful😊

@@nanna5559 how long did you shed? I've lost more than 50 percent of hair in just 4 months. Doctors say sometimes it takes longer for shedding to subside. I feel that am I the only one who is facing this much after a chemical straightening 😞

    • @nanna5559
      @nanna5559 Рік тому +1

@@nancyabrol9799 I lost hair (so much that I used to have nightmares about it at night!) mostly during the first 6 months after I got the hair perm, it got slowly better naturally but I never really solved the issue until I started using onion juice. I hope you'll benefit from it too!❤ oh and there are scientific studies to back these natural methods... For example in one study they gave some people minoxidil and some others rosemary oil and both treatments worked the same! But rosemary doesn't have side effects! Isn't that amazing?
There is also a study about onion juice, where the participants started to see regrowth! I forgot to tell you, I use red onions. If you can't find red onions, use yellow ones, but not the white ones.
It's sad that western medicine doesn't care about natural remedies when there are so many proofs of some of them working really well!
Also, get a blood test done! Iron deficiency and vitamin D deficiency often cause hair loss... if you can't get a blood test now, just start eating lots of red meat, spinach and peanuts and take vitamin D supplements. Oh and don't take biotin supplements for hair growth! There is no science that backs it working and it's super rare to have a biotin deficiency, so unless you have this deficiency, don't take it.
I'm not a doctor this is just my personal advice from what I've been reading for the past weeks😊
Other hair tips: buy a microfiber towel and dry your hair using it, buy a satin bonnet to sleep, do daily scalp massages (this is the right way to do it: vm.tiktok.com/ZMFUb64fG/)
I've learned all of these things lately, because I'm becoming passionate about haircare! I started doing scalp massages this week, I plan on buying a satin bonnet and I've just ordered the microfiber towel! But I still haven't used any of these things, my results are solely from using onion juice. These are just additional haircare tips😊
Let me know how it goes❤
(Make sure you're not allergic to any of these methods before using them please)
