Thats the magic in the north. We live in four seasons, where each one is different in colours and klimat. All the nature grows up with flowers and fruits. And then in the winter everything is white and silent.
@@kjell-egonstrandh5334 That sounds breathtakingly beautiful! | can only imagine the stark contrast between the seasons. Nigeria has a more consistent tropical climate, but I'm fascinated by your description of Sweden's changing landscapes.
I'm from Sweden and I've been to west Africa a few times. It would be cool to hear more about your life in Nigeria. Also wanted to say that you do reaction videos pretty well.
Sweden is a very long stretched country from north to south. Compared to, for example, Nigeria (which is much larger in surface area), Sweden ”stretches” almost 50% "longer". The Nordic countries are also very far north (actually about the same latitude as Alaska, northern Canada and Siberia in Russia). Hence the reason for the large differences in the length of the day during the year. The climate here in Scandinavia/the Nordics though is quite a bit milder than at the same latitudes in for example North America or east Asia. This is largely due to the influence of the Atlantic Gulf Stream, which transports warm water from the Gulf of Mexico up along the east coast of the USA approximately up to Virginia where it then diverges towards northern Europe. It passes north of Ireland and Scotland and continues along the coast of Norway. It then turns west north of Greenland and then south and instead transports cold water from the polar region down the west coast of Greenland to the east coast of Canada / USA. The place where Jonna lives is actually further north than Anchorage in Alaska 🥶, but has significantly warmer climate. It is not unusual for the temperature in the summer to reach around 30°C both there and even further north in Sweden.
@@hrafnatyr9794 Wow, thank you for the detailed explanation! I had no idea the Gulf Stream played such a significant role in Scandinavia's climate. It's fascinating to learn about the geographical factors that shape our environments.
She has made a beautiful version of the Swedish National Anthem ("Du gamla, du fria"), among other things :) It has english subs that can be turned on.

We finns have those same things here in Finland. Hopefully you can visit Finland in the future, summertime (June) is the brightest time.
It’s great to know that Finland shares similar seasonal experiences! June sounds like a wonderful time to visit - maybe someday I'll make it there. I'd love to experience the midnight sun someday.
@@mikkohapponen5728 I completely agree! As someone from Nigeria, I'm used to a lot of sunlight throughout the year. I can only imagine how surreal it must be to experience constant darkness for days on end.
@@mikkohapponen5728 Wow, that sounds incredibly tough. I'm accustomed to sunshine throughout the day in Nigeria, so it's hard to fathom going to work in the dark and returning home in the dark too.
@@matshjalmarsson3008 oh Wow, 35? She looks amazing! But more importantly, her mindset and outlook on life are truly admirable. Thanks for correcting me
@@MQReacts It can be really hard to guess the age of people from different "races", us Swedes usually think Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans are much younger than they are. My previous (Chinese) GF had to show her ID at a bar, and she was almost 50 yo. (Age limit here at bars is usually 18)

She is not only a great film maker, she sings, she makes and sell jewlery.
@@zpitzer oh wow… interesting
I believe she paints as well. Her husband is the one making the jewlery with her collaberation. He's a silversmith I think.
